We’re back at it today with a short post for the 2015 LEGO Architecture sets courtesy of Just2Good. There are only two sets in the winter wave sets, the Lincoln Memorial (21022) and the Flatiron Building (21023).
Lincoln Memorial (21022)
The Lincoln Memorial is a national monument to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It’s located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., right across from the Washington Monument. The architect of the monument was Henry Bacon and the sculptor of the statue of Lincoln was Daniel Chester French.
Flatiron Building (21023)
The Flatiron Building was originally called the Fuller Building and it is located at 175 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. It is considered one of the world’s most iconic skyscrapers in New York City and is designated a New York City landmark. It was designed by Daniel Burnham and Frederick Dinkelberg.
Coincidentally, there will be a LEGO Brand Store grand opening held in the Flatiron District this weekend from October 10-13. Check out the details of the opening here.
