Mother’s Day is just around the corner and if you didn’t see yet, we will be getting a LEGO Mother’s Day Card (5005878) set May 4-10 with purchases of $40 or more. The set has 47 pieces and LEGO has sent over a early copy of the set for us to take a look at.
The contents of the box include a sealable bag of the parts, the instructions, and a large sticker sheet. The sticker sheet has five large stickers that you can use for the panel piece, one of which is blank so you can customize your own.
For the build, you’ll be stacking a lot of plates together. There’s really not much to it and it’s a little underwhelming. You do get a little flower in the front of the card but it doesn’t add much to it.
Overall, the LEGO Mother’s Day Card (5005878) is not a promo that I would be going for especially at the $40 purchase. I think that’s a little too high and would be better at around $20-$25. However, it will stack with the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th promotions only for May 4.
Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
