There are some new LEGO magnet sets that LEGO has sent over a couple of them for a review. These include the London Magnet Build (854012) and Empire State Building Magnet Build (854030). They both retail for $9.99 each and they feature some of the more notable landmarks for each city.
London features the London Eye as well as Big Ben in the skyline style. Unfortunately, there are some stickers that have to be applied to give it more detailing. The Empire State Building has a blue background with a cloud. It also has some stickers for the entrance and the name of the building.
These magnet sets caters to a very niche market, particularly the ones that travel. If you’ve been to these cities, they’re good souvenirs to have hanging on the fridge but the price is a little high for them. If they were half the price, then they would be great buys. Currently, there is still no release date for the Empire State Building but London is available on Shop@Home.
Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
