We’ve finally got the review sets for 2024 LEGO Marvel and the first one we’ll be checking out is the Motorcycle Chase: Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock (76275). The set has 77 pieces and retails for $9.99.
Minifigures
There’s only two minifigures in the set, Spider-Man and Venom Doc Ock. There’s nothing unique with Spider-Man as he’s the same one that has been used before with the red and blue outfit. There’s also printing on the arms as well. His accessories are some web Power Blast pieces.
Venom Doc Ock is loosely based on the Poison Doctor Octopus from the Venomverse storyline. He’s mostly in a dark green outfit but the left side of the torso shows the Venom symbiote has taken it over. He has a double-sided head with one side showing both Doc Ock’s face as well Venom’s face. The other side shows Venom taking over. His accessories include a neck bracket for his robotic arms and a bundle of dynamite. He also has some different colored gems that he’s trying to steal.
Build
The first part of the build is the little area for the streetlight. Next it is a trash can filled with a fish and a bone.
The other part of the build is Spider-Man’s motorcycle which is somewhat the norm now for these smaller sets. It has similar looks as previous motorcycles and this one includes a printed piece near the front wheel with Spider-Man’s logo. The sides of the bike has some stud shooters.
Results
Overall the LEGO Marvel Motorcycle Chase: Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock (76275) is a very typical set that you’ll get at this price point with the small motorcycle being the main build. The main draw here are the minifigures with the value heavily favoring Venom Doc Ock as he is exclusive to this set. The Venomized storyline is a pretty popular one and I would like to see LEGO do more minifigures like this since they’ve already done a larger scale Venomized Groot (76249).
Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
