LEGO has released their newest Easter gift with purchase set with the LEGO Spring Garden House (40682). The set has 277 and you can get with purchases of $80 from now until March 31, while supplies last.
The set has three builds to it. The first is the little yellow chick which is pretty much in cube form. It does use the white rounded 1×2 plates so it makes it look like it’s wearing shoes.
The medium-sized of the set is white bunny. There is a pink slope on the chest to give it some coloring as well as on the ears. It is able to hold a carrot and the watering can.
The main build is the egg-shaped garden house. The front of it has pastel colors and uses some larger shell pieces along with slope pieces to give its shape. There’s no door to the house, just a large opening. I will say that the front porch/grass area is prone to falling off since it is only attached by the four end studs.
The back of the house is an open concept, like with many LEGO sets nowadays. There are a bunch of shelves on either side of the house. Alongside the different colored flowers on the shelves, there’s also a fork and a water pail. The attic also has a “hidden” egg sitting on a pearl-gold leaf.
Overall, the LEGO Spring Garden House (40682) is just an okay gift with purchase set. There’s nothing too special about it but it is cute, however, it doesn’t warrant the $80 price requirement to get it. I feel that a $50 purchase would have been a better price for it.
Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
