One of the more anticipated LEGO Disney March 2025 sets is the Lilo and Stitch Beach House (43268). It has 834 pieces and retails for $89.99.
Minifigures
There five minifigures in the set, Lilo, Stitch, Nani, David, and Mr. Bubbles. She has on the red muumuu with leaf designs on both sides of the torso. Her double-sided head shows her with a smile on one side and her tongue sticking out on the other. Her hairpiece has a spot for a flower. Her accessories include a camera and her Scrump rag doll which uses the Dreamlings body from the LEGO DREAMZzz theme.
We’ve seen Stitch before from the LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures (71012) but the one in this set has been slightly updated. He uses the the same parts as before but it has a slightly brighter color scheme. His accessories include a brick-built plasma blaster and his bottle.
Nani has on her peach colored shirt with the heart in the middle. The legs are dual printed to show her jean shorts and shoes. Her double-sided head shows her with a smile on one side and a smirk on the other.
David has a muscular appearance with the bare torso and printing of the fish hook necklace around his neck. The legs show the red swim trunks and the raffia leg ties. His double-sided head shows him with a regular smile on one side and a nervous smile on the other. His accessories include a pair of brick-built fire sticks.
Lastly we have Mr. Bubbles who is in his black suit when he first appeared in the movie. His single-sided head shows him wearing shades with a grumpy look. His accessory is his briefcase.
Build
The first part of the build is the Red One which is the red intergalactic federal police cruiser that Stitch stole to escape. There’s only enough space for Stitch to stand inside. The front of it uses a sticker for detailing while the back has a couple of moving thrusters that uses gray cupcake pieces for the engines.
The beach house sits on a small patch of grassy land and is the newer, rebuilt version. It is a little raised off the ground so there are some lattice pieces to cover the bottom part of the house.
The right side of the house has some flowers along with a palm tree in the back. There’s also some clips to hold a pair of surfboards.
The house itself is a lot more blue than teal but the overall shape and styling is pretty much the same as the one seen at the end of the movie. Although the outside of the house is based on the new look, the inside of the house is based on the old house.
On the bottom floor, we have the living room with the sofa and Lilo’s record player along with a printed round brick of the voodoo pickle jar.
The other side of the floor has the kitchen along with the laundry area. The fridge has a sticker of Lilo’s “Me Alone!” drawing. There’s also the burning pot on the stove as well.
Upstairs we have Nani’s bedroom on the left side where it’s the most normal area in the house. The wall next to it has a sticker picture of one similar to one of the ones shown at the ending credits.
The whole area next to the wall represents Lilo’s room. The larger area is Stitch’s space with the pineapple bed crate. The drawer next to it has the surfer trophy.
In Lilo’s area, she has her bed along with her ukulele and the wall next to it has a large sticker filled with photos. The desk next to the bed has the hula girl lamp.
At the very top of the house, we have the new dome tower. Stored up here is The Ugly Duckling book that Stitch finds.
Results
The LEGO Disney Lilo and Stitch Beach House (43268) is a good representation of the one from the movie even though it was only shown for about five seconds at the end. LEGO did extract a lot of memorable items from the movie and put them in the set.
Although there are a lot of good things with the set, there are also some glaring issues. First is that we’re missing the Jumba and Pleakley minifigures. They’re also part of the main cast so them missing in the set makes it feel incomplete. The other thing is the high price point of $90. Even though the set looks nice but it doesn’t feel like it is worth the price. Of course the minifigures make up a good chunk of the cost and if we’re adding Jumba and Pleakley, that would make the set even more expensive.
