Just in time before February ends, I’ve received my monthly subscription Brick Builders Club box. If you’re new to the site, the Brick Builders Club is sort of a Lootcrate but with LEGO stuff inside. The theme of February’s box is Games so let’s check out what we get.
The first thing in the box is the guaranteed t-shirt that you get every month. This one is a black shirt with the poular kids game roshambo, aka rock-paper-scissors. Here we see the rock, paper, and scissors as LEGO pieces.
The next item is a game board with black and white 2×2 bricks being the spaces for checkers, chess, or whatever games that uses an 8×8 board.
After that, we have some custom made Brick Builders Club backed playing cards. The characters for the jacks, queens, and kings are actually minifigures. The different suits are also LEGO parts as well.
Following that is a monitor screen cleaner as 1×6 red brick.
Also something that we get every month are the Funky Fig cards. These are somewhat inspired by the old Garbage Pail Kids. Unlike the previous cards in the series, these cards are smaller than the usual size.
The Parts Pack for this month is by The Brick Show Shop. Since it’s a Games theme, we get a custom LEGO Pac-Mon Arcade Machine with decals. The normal price for this set is $7.99 if you buy off the website. There’s also a coupon code for 20% your order when you use “bbcfeb15”.
As always, you get the Build Magazine and in this issue, there is an interview with Imagine Rigney who we’ve featured before on one of his builds. The building instructions for the Arcade Machine in this issue. There is also a feature on the LEGO Games that have been released through the years.
Overall the themed boxes the past few months are pretty cool and February’s box isn’t an exception. I do like the custom company backed LEGO playing cards which is pretty unique and there’s other way to get to get it. Our coupon code: “BrickFan15” still works and you can get $15.00 off the 3 month membership for first-time members. Next month’s theme is Castle so we’ll see what kind of stuff we’ll be getting in March.
