Last November, we reported that a new LEGO convention called BrickUniverse will be happening in next month. If you plan on attending, here’s a little reminder to purchase your tickets for the public days or if you want to attend all four days, you can also register in time for the end of next month. Creations for Charity: stand with LEGO products for sale with all proceeds from the stand going the to charity. There will be a charity auction on Friday (3/27).
Two separate Market Areas: with over twenty different vendors selling an array of LEGO products.
No Starch Press Reading Area: with some of the best LEGO books published by No Starch Press for attendees to muse over.
Seminars: including How to Sticker Your MOCs by Jacob Unterreiner, LEGO Ambassador Network by LEGO Community Manager Kevin Hinkle, and a panel on the online LEGO community lead by representatives from The Brick Show, Brickipedia, Mask of Destiny, and BZPower.
Brickerviews: TEDtalks-like discussion with Jason Burik and Johnathan Lopes.
Minifigure Art: professional caricatures artists will be on site selling LEGO art and live minifigure caricatures.
Games: that include one-hand building, speed build, and combo build.
Burik Model Design: a gallery of works by LEGO master model builder Jason Burik
The event will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center (500 S. Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC 27601) on March 26-29 with the public days being March 28-29. If you register before March 1st, you can get an attendee goodie bag as well as saving $25.
