LEGO Friends Customize Your Go-Kart Contest

LEGO Rebrick has a new building contest to win some serious prizes including a collection of the summer 2018 LEGO Friends sets. We haven’t seen the summer 2018 LEGO Friends sets yet but according to the prize descriptions, they will be a racing subtheme this year. LEGO wants you to build a 8×12 stud LEGO Friends Go-Kart vignette which has to consist of a Go-Kart along with some surrounding actions. This could be some characters preparing for the race, trees, street, part of a race track, or traffic signs. The build should only relate to LEGO Friends and fit into the Heartlake City universe. This means no third part IPs including LEGO IPs.

There will be one grand prize winner, who will receive:
-A collection of 12 upcoming LEGO Friends sets, shipped once they’ve available, valued at $430 USD
-Your choice of $600 USD worth of items from Shop.LEGO.com
-Trophy designed by a LEGO Friends designer

Decorating the LEGO House Building Contest

How would you like to have your LEGO model be featured at the LEGO House in Billund with some great prizes up for grabs? LEGO Rebrick is holding a new contest for some vignette-type sets in the Nature and Minifigure Interior categories with the winning model being displayed at the LEGO House for one year. In addition, you’ll also get a signed copy of the LEGO Architecture The LEGO House (21037) as well. The requirements of the builds are as follows:

Nature – including animals, plants and flowers. Make sure your model’s base is between 4×4 studs – 64 x 32 studs in total and the model is no more than 60 bricks high. No parts of your model can overhang 64×32 studs, although you can have different parts overhanging if you have a smaller baseplate.

Minifigure Interiors – show us the inside of a room or vignette scene in Minifigure scale. Just make sure the baseplate is between 16×8 studs – 64×32 studs and the model is no more than 60 bricks high. No parts of your model can overhang 64×32 studs, although you can have different parts overhanging if you have a smaller baseplate.

There will be a minimum of 10 winners in each category, who will receive:

– The opportunity to have their model exhibited at the LEGO House, including a short description of the model and the name of the builder, with all costs for shipping the model to be provided by The LEGO Group.

Post Your Entries for the LEGO Ideas Moments in Space Contest

LEGO Ideas Moments in Space

Yesterday, I reported that the crowd voting stage for the LEGO Ideas Moments in Space contest was underway. This stage is to find the top 25 entries out of a whopping 1,065 entries who participated. I’ve been asked by readers a few times already to feature their entries. While I can’t feature every single one, I’ll allow participants to leave a comment below to show off their own builds.

You may have noticed on each entry page that it doesn’t show the voes even though you have voted on a particular entry. According Hasan in the LEGO Ambassador Network, “The votes are intentionally hidden for this phase and will be revealed at the end of the contest.” This allows a level playing field since nobody knows how many votes an entry has gained. This also makes the whole thing a popularity contest to find the top 25 entries. I suggest using the filters to find which entries have the most discussions to gauge what is popular at the moment for the contest.

– Models have to be physically built. No digital creations will be accepted.

How to Enter:

– There are two ways to enter. You can either upload to our Flickr Group or post your submission to Instagram using the hashtag #thebrickfanvignette.

– Please specify which Series 2 TLBM minifigure was selected for the vignette in the image caption.

– You can submit more than one entry but only one will be selected a winner.

– The vignettes should be brand new and not seen before online.
