LEGO May 2024 Shopping Guide – May the 4th Celebration

May is just around the corner and there are some exciting LEGO set releases coming soon. In addition to the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th Celebration, there are some Space sets releasing towards the middle of May.

LEGO Icons NASA Artemis Space Launch System (10341) and LEGO Art The Milky Way (31212) Officially Announced

2024 is the year of LEGO Space sets and today LEGO has revealed two new ones with the LEGO Icons NASA Artemis Space Launch System (10341) and the LEGO Art The Milky Way (31212). Both releasing on May 15 for Insiders, the Artemis has 3,601 pieces and retails for $259.99 while the Milky Way has 3,091 pieces and retails for $199.99. 25th April 2024: Today the LEGO Group unveils two new sets that allow space enthusiasts to go out of this world, by exploring the art of engineering excellence behind the human space missions to get a glimpse of what’s out there.

The LEGO® Icons NASA Artemis Space Launch System set is a 3,601-piece set for adults and interpretates the Artemis Space Launch System, including a multistage rocket with 2 solid-fuel boosters and a detailed mobile launch tower with retractable umbilicals, rocket support and crew bridge.

Now in brick form, this accurate replica also includes a model of the Orion spacecraft, which is powered by the European Space Agency’s European Service Module, complete with foldout solar panels, which can be placed inside the rocket or on a separate display stand. LEGO April 2024 Sets Now Available – Dungeons & Dragons/Batman: The Animated Series

April is now here and LEGO has dropped a number of new sets on the LEGO Shop including the LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348) and the LEGO Art Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City (76271).

The Flower Trellis Display (40683) is the main general gift with purchase set which runs from April 1-16 with purchases of $150, while supplies last. The second run of the GWP will be from May 27 – June 9.

The Mimic Dice Box (5008325) is also available but only when you purchase the Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348). This one will run for a limited time from April 1-7, while supplies last.

The LEGO Icons Retro Food Truck (40681) makes a return with purchases of the Boutique Hotel (10297), Jazz Club (10312), or the Natural History Museum (10326).

In the Rewards Center, you will be able to get the LEGO Ninjago Micro Ninjago Docks (40704) using 2,700 points as well a physical copy of the LEGO Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale Adventure book for the same points value. You can still access the book for free on D&D Beyond.

It’s be a smaller month in terms of new releases but there are some big hitters coming that fans will be interested in. The obvious ones are the LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348) and the LEGO Art Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City (76271).

LEGO Art Hokusai – The Great Wave (31208) Amazon Sale – March 2024

Amazon currently has the LEGO Art Hokusai – The Great Wave (31208) on sale for 15% which is the lowest price the set has been at. It is listed for $84.99 which saves you $15 on it. The set features the iconic woodblock print in a 3D look and was one of my favorite sets from early last year.

LEGO Space Sets Confirmed for More Themes

The 2024 London Toy Fair is now going on and there’s some LEGO Space news coming out of the event from Brickset. As we know by now, LEGO is celebrating the Space theme this year with space sets being produced from a wide range of themes including City, Classic, Creator, DREAMZzz, DUPLO, Friends, and Technic.

According to a graphic from the toy fair, it looks like LEGO has made space sets for even more themes such as Art, Icons, and even the Collectible Minifigures line. We’ll most likely see these space sets during the summer 2024 releases.
