LEGO 2016 Set Name Listings on Amazon.de

Today Amazon.de has upload a ton of listings for various upcoming LEGO 2016 sets. There were many posts on Eurobricks on these listings but I’ve organized them alphabetically by theme. Thanks to CM4sci for the heads up. The set names are loosely translated from German so they might not be the official names but they give you an idea of what the sets are. This list does correspond to the list that came out a few days ago.

Update: LEGO has asked sites to remove the list. Amazon.de messed up and accidentally posted it just a little bit too early. Sorry folks.

Possible LEGO 2016 Set List?

An interesting list popped up over on BrickPicker that could be a potential list of the first-half 2016 LEGO sets for various themes. This list does correspond to earlier rumors of some City and Ninjago sets for next year. The list was scrambled when I looked at it so I tried to organize it into separate themes. If you look closely, there could be a hint to what the next modular set could be. Keep in mind this isn’t an official list.

LEGO BIONICLE SDCC 2015 Skull Scorpio Mask

For the final review of the San Diego Comic Con 2015 LEGO free exclusive giveaways, I have the LEGO BIONICLE Skull Scorpio Mask. This mask is the same mold as the upcoming Skull Scorpio (70794) set except that it is trans-neon green. As usual, the packaging is the plastic clamshell that all the other free exclusives have been in. The cardboard inside shows some nice artwork of something. Honestly, I do not collect LEGO BIONICLE so I don’t know the terminology of things that are part of the theme but I know there are a lot of readers who are so if you recognize what’s printed on the card, let me know.

LEGO BIONICLE Skull Scorpio Mask SDCC 2015

The last LEGO exclusive giveaway for San Diego Comic Con 2015 isn’t a regular minifigure but a trans-neon green LEGO BIONICLE Skull Scorpio Mask. It isn’t as cool as the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Arsenal or LEGO Marvel Super Heroes All New Captain America (Sam Wilson) minifigures but fans will still line up to get this exclusive. There’s no packaging shown for the mask but it’ll probably look like the ones given away at NYCC last year. The LEGO BIONICLE Skull Scorpio Mask will be given away on Saturday.

LEGO BIONICLE Summer 2015 Official Set Images

There are finally official images and set descriptions for the Summer 2015 wave of LEGO BIONICLE sets listed on out of all places, Best Buy Canada. Thanks to Michael for the heads up.

Skull Warrior (70791)

Put the freeze on intruders to the ancient city with the ferocious LEGO BIONICLE Skull Warrior! The LEGO BIONICLE Facebook Page has announced that the BIONICLE Mask Hunt has begun. All you have to do is to find real world objects that correspond to the BIONICLE power elements: fire, ice, jungle, water, earth, and stone. Then upload your images to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #BionicleMaskHunt and the six best pictures will win one of the six 14 karat gold masks.

The contest will last six weeks. Each weekly winner will get a LEGO BIONICLE set corresponding to the submitted mask element. (Total value of $14,99 – $19,99 / EUR 14,99 – EUR 19,99). Each of the overall winners will win one of the 14 karat gold masks that correspond to the submitted mask element. (Total value of $159.99 / EUR 159,99)

The LEGO BIONICLE Facebook Page has posted a behind the scenes video on the making of the LEGO BIONICLE Gold Masks that were first displayed at New York Comic Con last year. It looks like they are giving everyone another chance to win one of the six 14 karat Gold Masks in an upcoming competition that will probably utilize the hashtag #BionicleMaskHunt.
