For those who have been waiting for it, the LEGO Bonsai Tree (10281) is now back in stock on the LEGO Shop. The set has literally been out of stock ever since its release in January. If you didn’t know, the Bonsai Tree is part of the new LEGO Botanical Collection which also includes the Flower Bouquet (10280) but that one is still sold out.

Building LEGO on First Dates

Today is Valentine’s Day and LEGO has recently released a video showing some strangers going out on their first dates while breaking the ice using the new LEGO Botanical Collection sets. The three couples engage in conversation using the Flower Bouquet (10280) and the Bonsai Tree (10281) that is set in between them. This relieves some of the tension that is inherently set when people go on first dates and it hopefully encourages others to try it when they go on dates.

LEGO has been pushing the LEGO 18+ product strategy a lot since its introduction last year and it has paid off for them as more adults have gotten into building LEGO in recent years. This is evident by the fact that the two sets have been currently out of stock at all retailers after its release last month and are hard pressed to catch any restocks that pop up online.

LEGO Botanical Collection Available at Target and Walmart

The LEGO Botanical Collection has been pretty popular so far and they are now on backorder status and out of stock on the LEGO Shop but Target and Walmart has them in stock at retail price. It’s good there are alternatives for shoppers but the downside is that you won’t get any VIP points or qualify for the Vintage Car promo.

Let creativity bloom with new botanical builds from the LEGO Group

Billund, December, 30th, 2020: Today, the LEGO Group has revealed a new range of mindful models for the green-fingered. The decorative LEGO® Botanical Collection includes a stunning LEGO® Flower Bouquet to brighten the home, and a LEGO® Bonsai Tree for those looking to be more zen in the new year.

While many people seek out green spaces to destress and relax, adults can now bring a touch of nature into their home and unwind as they create and customise their botanical builds….and the great news is that LEGO plants don’t need to be watered to stay fresh.

With 7 in 10 adults saying they often research new ways to distress(1) and over 8 in 10 saying play helps them relax(2), the new sets could provide the perfect perennial project for those looking to get creative, destress and find moments of mindfulness in a day.

Both sets in the new LEGO Botanical Collection include a number of elements made from plant-based plastic, produced using sustainably sourced sugarcane.

Surprise a friend or show yourself some love with a gift that keeps on giving, a beautiful flower bouquet that’s anything but ordinary, and

LEGO Botanical Collection Pre-Orders on Amazon Canada

If you’re in Canada and want to secure one of the new and highly anticipated LEGO Botanical Collection sets, you may want to head over to Amazon Canada. They are offering preorders for both the Flower Bouquet (10280) and the Bonsai Tree (10281). I fully expected these two sets to sell out when they launch on the LEGO Shop on January 1 so why not guarantee the sets early and avoid the hassle later of trying to find one later. Unfortunately, you’ll be missing out on VIP points and whatever promotion(s) LEGO will be having. Again, this is for Canada only.
