Vote for the 150th LEGO BrickHeadz Set

LEGO will be celebrating their 150th LEGO BrickHeadz set in the near future and they are letting the fans help decide one of the new upcoming sets over on LEGO Ideas. There are four themes from choose from:

• Minecraft
• Star Wars
• Lilo & Stitch
• Jaws

LEGO Seasonal Christmas 2020 Sets Revealed

LEGO has uploaded the product pages for the LEGO Seasonal Christmas 2020 sets on Shop@Home and we finally have details for them. We’ve already seen a couple of sets today with the Nutcracker (40425) and the Christmas Wreath (40426) but there are also three more sets that we can expect this October.

LEGO BrickHeadz Nutcracker (40425) Coming in October

There will be a brand new LEGO BrickHeadz coming for Christmas this year with the Nutcracker (40425). It wasn’t part of our review package but Brickset did get one and he looks pretty cool. There’s also supposed to be a function in the back to make the mouth move up and down. There’s no word on piece count but it’ll most likely retail for $9.99 and be released on October 1 along with the Christmas Wreath (40426).

LEGO BrickHeadz Universal Monsters Frankenstein (40422) Now Available on Shop@Home

The LEGO BrickHeadz Universal Monsters Frankenstein (40422) is now available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home. This set is the first in what appears to be a new line of classic Universal Monsters that will be in the BrickHeadz style. THe set has 108 pieces and retails for only $9.99.

LEGO® BrickHeadz™ Frankenstein (40422) is a fun recreation of the famous fictional character. As part of the LEGO BrickHeadz collection, the figure comes with its own character ID and a sturdy baseplate for easy display, either individually or alongside other BrickHeadz models. Last week, we got our first look at the LEGO BrickHeadz Universal Monsters Frankenstein (40422) and we finally have a release date for it. LEGO Shop@Home has put up the product page for it and it shows it will be available next week on September 15. Even though it is a licensed set, the price for it will be the usual $9.99.

LEGO BrickHeadz Hagrid & Buckbeak (40412) Sold Out on Shop@Home

It’s not really a surprise but the LEGO BrickHeadz Hagrid & Buckbeak (40412) gift with purchase two pack is now sold out on LEGO Shop@Home. It actually sold out halfway through the day on the 1st and that’s pretty fast considering the fairly high threshold needed to get it. Obviously, getting Diagon Alley (75978) was the easiest way to get one since you needed $100 purchase of LEGO Harry Potter products. LEGO Brand Stores could potentially still have some left but chances are pretty slim. Currently, it is going for about $40-$50 on the secondary market which is a bummer if you missed out on it.

LEGO BrickHeadz Universal Monsters Frankenstein (40422) First Look

Brickset has given a first look at a brand new set from the LEGO BrickHeadz Universal Monsters line. They have done a review on Frankenstein (40422) which is actually based on Frankenstein’s Monster. The build is monochrome in color similar to the black and white movies of the era.

The box doesn’t show any other Universal Monsters but I can expect there will be a number of them based on the classic characters including Dracula, The Mummy, Invisible Man, Wolfman, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. It was stated that Frankenstein will be available starting on September 15.
