LEGO(R) SANTIAGO BERNABÉU – PRODUCT PRESS RELEASE

GO REAL MADRID AND THE LEGO GROUP!

The spectacular home of Real Madrid Club de Fútbol can now be built in LEGO® brick form as the ultimate display piece for fans

17th February 2022: Today the LEGO Group reveals a stunning homage to one of the most beloved football teams in the world — the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, a faithful replica of the home of Real Madrid.

The LEGO® Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium set coincides with the club’s 120th anniversary and the 75th anniversary of the iconic grounds. The impressive set features over 5,800 pieces and has been designed to be the ultimate display piece for Real Madrid C.F. and LEGO fans — and to symbolise the spectacular pride felt by fans watching a match take place at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

This interactive and immersive set features many specialised details which make it an accurate replica of the stadium from both up-close and afar. A lift-off roof and the ability to open up the model by “splitting” it in half, encourages users to engage with the many details of the set — from the pitch with the famous grass pattern, the venue’s iconic four towers, the goals, tunnel, dugout, scoreboard, banners, stickers, stairwells, iconic Real Madrid C.F. branding, and

LEGO Creator 3-in-1 2022 Sets Revealed

There are new 2022 LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set images that have surfaced on JB Spielwaren. There are six sets listed and they should be available starting in March. I will say that the Super Mech interests me a lot because it looks to be loosely based on the Japanese manga/anime Mazinger Z.

Off-Road Buggy (31123) – 160 pieces

Super Mech (31124) – 159 pieces

Forest Mythical Creatures (31125) – 175 pieces

Supersonic Jet (31126) – 215 pieces

Street Car (31127) – 258 pieces

Dolphin and Turtle (31128) – 137 pieces

LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532) Gift with Purchase Details

LEGO has finally released the details for the upcoming LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532) gift with purchase set on the LEGO Shop. The build is based on a classic version of the 1930s Citroën Traction Avant and you can get it from January 28 to February 13 with purchases of $200/£200/200€, while supplies last. The set also includes a taxi driver minifigure along with some accessories as well.

With the price threshold at a pretty high limit and releasing on such short notice, supplies will no doubt last. The taxi does match well with the new Modular Buildings Collection Boutique Hotel (10297) although we’ll see if it comes back in stock since it’s been a very popular set and has been temporarily out of stock for a while.

LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532) Review

LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532)

The promotion for the LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532) is now live on the LEGO Shop and you can get it for free with purchases of $200 or more from now until February 13, while supplies last. It has 163 pieces and it features an old school style taxi along with the driver.

LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532)

The driver wears a blue shirt under a red jacket. His headpiece shows him with a moustache along with some mutton chops and he wears a beret. His briefcase holds a donut tile.

There’s also a small sidewalk area with a streetlight and a trash can.

The vintage taxi has a black and yellow color scheme and is based on the 1930s Citroën Traction Avant. It is six-wide and the inside has enough room for the driver and a passenger. There’s nothing more too it and it does goes well in an existing City layout.

LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532)

The LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532) is a nice looking set but the $200 price threshold may be a little high for some. It does pair up well with the new Boutique Hotel (10297) as they both have similar styles and that itself should be enough to get it. Again, you have until February 13 to get your orders in for it.

LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532) GWP First Look

There are now images of a new gift with purchase set coming soon with the LEGO Vintage Taxi (40532). The information on when or how to get it is still unconfirmed since there’s no more store calendars but it is reported that it will be available starting on January 28 with purchases of $200/£200. The set does look great next to the new LEGO Boutique Hotel but it’s a bummer that it didn’t come out when the hotel was launched at the beginning of the month. Hopefully, LEGO will update the details on the Promotions, Offers, and Events page so fans can start planning their purchases.
