LEGO Reveals at 2019 Nuremberg Toy Fair

The 2019 Nuremberg Toy Fair has kicked off today and our colleagues over at Zusammengebaut has given live updates of some of the summer 2019 LEGO sets that we could expect to see later this year. As usual, photography is not allowed but there are a number of LEGO sets and prices from a variety of themes that we can discuss. Everything is loosely translated from German but we get an idea of what they are. I’ll update as more information comes in.

Some things to note that were not seen at Nuremberg were LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Toy Story 4, and LEGO BrickHeadz.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Spider-Man's Mini Spider Crawler (30451)

Brickset has uncovered a lot of new 2019 LEGO polybags that have shown up on LEGO Customer Service which you can find the instructions for them. Some of the more notable ones can be found at various retailers such as the Mini Spider Crawler and the LEGO Creator Fish Free Builds – Make it Yours (30545). This year also brings us the first polybag for the LEGO Minecraft theme which is long overdue. Head on over to Brickset in the link above to see all the polybags that have been revealed so far.

New LEGO Polybags Showing Up at Retailers

There are now more 2018/2019 LEGO polybags that have started to show up at various retailers. Thanks to Scott P., we now have images of three new ones that he was able to purchase at Target and Walmart. As you can see above, there is a LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Pelican (30571) that has 62 pieces and can be found at Target.

The LEGO Friends Friendship Flower (30404) is also found at Target and it was originally available as a gift-with-purchase promotional item back in February.

Finally, there is the LEGO City Arctic Ice Saw (30360) which was found at Walmart. It has 43 pieces and it was originally available in the UK that was packaged with the National Geographic Kids magazine.

LEGO Creator Corner Garage (10264) Designer Video

Last week, LEGO officially revealed the next modular building with the LEGO Creator Corner Garage (10264) and they have also released the designer video for the set. LEGO designer Lars Joe goes though some of the details for each floor of the set. One little cool Easter egg that you may not know is that that the second floor is Dr. Jones’ Animal Care. It seems that an older Indiana Jones has traded his whip for a stethoscope in this set. The Corner Garage has 2,569 pieces and will be available starting on January 1.

LEGO Creator Detective’s Office and Brick Bank Officially Retired

I have just been told from my source that the LEGO Creator Detective’s Office (10246) and the Brick Bank (10251) have officially been retired. That means there are no more sets being produced and whatever sets you find on store shelves are the last remaining sets you’ll be able to find at retail price. I’ve been telling you guys about it for a while now and it looks like this is the end of the road for these two sets. As of this writing, LEGO Shop@Home still has them in stock and Amazon still has five sets available at retail price, however, the Brick Bank is out of stock everywhere.

LEGO Creator Corner Garage (10264) Officially Revealed

LEGO has officially announced the next highly anticipated 2019 modular building with the Corner Garage (10264). This set contains 2,569 pieces while retailing for $199.99 and will be available starting on January 1. Check out the press release and more images of the set below.

LEGO Creator Vestas Wind Turbine (10268) Review

Back in September, LEGO announced another set from the “Out of the Vault” series with the LEGO Creator Vestas Wind Turbine (10268). It is similar to the 4999 version from 2008 which was only available to Vestas employees at the time. This new set has 826 pieces which is a bit more than the previous version and it will retail for $199.99. You will soon be able to get your hands on it when it becomes available starting on Black Friday, November 23. The contents of the box include nine unnumbered bags of smaller parts, three unnumbered bags of larger parts including Power Functions, a 32×32 green baseplate, and the instructions.
