If you haven’t picked up the LEGO Dimensions The Goonies Level Pack (71267), Amazon is price matching Toys R Us for 50% off the normal price. Even if you’re not a fan of the Dimensions video game itself, the Sloth minifigure with a couple of builds at $14.99 is a easier pill to swallow than $29.99. If you do play the game and haven’t picked up the set yet, this is a good opportunity to, especially since we probably won’t be seeing another Goonies character in LEGO form any time soon.

Hey, you guuuys! Help Sloth and Chunk escape the Fratelli hideout and join the rest of the Goonies on their search for One Eyed Willy’s treasure. Make a break from the Fratelli family as they chase you through the pirate ship, but don’t forget to dodge the traps! Build Sloth and use his Super Strength to smash through walls. For extra fun, play as Chunk and use his infamous Truffle Shuffle. Hop on to One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship when you need a ride or play the Skeleton Organ to make your way out of the caves. LEGO Dimensions Beetlejuice Fun Pack (71349)

Earlier today, I’ve received the official press release for the Wave 9 LEGO Dimensions expansion packs which includes various franchises such as The Powerpuff Girls, Beetlejuice, and Teen Titans Go! The Wave 9 expansion packs will be available starting on September 12 and they are:

Teen Titans Go! Team Pack (71255)
Teen Titans Go! Fun Pack (71287)
The Powerpuff Girls Fun Pack (71343)
The Powerpuff Girls Team Pack (71346)
Beetlejuice Fun Pack (71349)

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today revealed five new expansion packs for LEGO Dimensions: Team and Fun Packs based on the popular Cartoon Network animated series Teen Titans Go! and The Powerpuff Girls, along with a Beetlejuice Fun Pack. The packs will launch on September 12, providing players with all new ways mix and match their favorite characters, vehicles and universes.

Players that purchase the Teen Titans Go! Team Pack or Fun Pack will get access to an exclusive, original animated episode detailing the Super Heroes foray into the LEGO Dimensions multiverse.

LEGO Dimensions Teen Titans Go! Raven In-Game Look

The Wave 8 LEGO Dimensions expansion packs are now available and in The Goonies Level Pack (71267), there’s a little teaser for Raven from Teen Titans Go!

As you can see from the clip below from Bricks to Life, Raven is shown coming in from a Keystone and smashing the ceiling with a giant hand. This is the first animated look at the popular character which is rumored to be in a future Team Pack along with Beast Boy. Other franchises included in Wave 9 are The Powerpuff Girls and Beetlejuice.

LEGO Dimensions Wave 8 Now Available for Purchase

The LEGO Dimensions Wave 8 expansion packs are now available for purchase starting today. The packs included in this wave are the LEGO City Fun Pack (71266), The Goonies Level Pack (71267), and the Hermione Fun Pack (71348). In a short few weeks, we should start getting official details of Wave 9 which includes Beetlejuice, The Powerpuff Girls, and Teen Titans Go!

LEGO City Fun Pack (71266)

Help stop crime in the LEGO Dimensions multiverse with LEGO City’s Chase McCain. Build and place Chase on the LEGO Toy Pad to bring him to life in the game. Use his LEGO City Detective Scanner to track down bad guys and change his disguise to unlock more abilities. Become a Miner to break Silver LEGO bricks or a Fireman to use your Water Beam to put out fires. Unlock the LEGO City Adventure World to explore new areas like Blackwell’s moonbase and the LEGO City Police Department, and the Battle Arena to compete with up to 4 of your friends. Build Chase’s Police Helicopter to fire off bolts, then rebuild it into the Police Hovercraft and Police Plane for additional in-game abilities.

LEGO Dimensions Wave 8 Adventure World Preview

LEGO Dimensions Goonies Level Pack (71267)

Earlier today, the LEGO Dimensions social media pages released a little Adventure World randomizer and at the end, it shows some levels from a couple of upcoming expansion packs which you can play in. In the image above we see the city of Astoria, Oregon from The Goonies Level Pack (71267). If you look real closely, you can see the Astoria Country Club as well as the One Eyed Willy’s cave below.

The other image that is shown is for the LEGO City Fun Pack (71266) where you can see LEGO City itself and some of the locations such as the police station on the bottom left, Albatross Prison on the bottom right, and Jethro Hayes’ Farm on the top left.

Both expansion packs are from Wave 8 which also includes the Hermione Fun Pack (71348) and they will be released on May 9.

LEGO Dimensions The Goonies Level Pack (71267) Octopus Teaser

TT Games has been fairly quiet about some of the upcoming LEGO Dimensions expansion packs but today they released a little teaser of The Goonies Level Pack (71267). As you can from the clip below, it shows part of the game at One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship and next to it is the octopus from the deleted scene in the movie. If the deleted scene octopus is in the game, I’m sure there will be more Easter eggs in the expansion pack.

The Goonies Level Pack (71267) will be available on May 9 and it includes the Sloth minifigure along with One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship and the Skeleton Organ as the builds. The alternate builds for the ship are the Fanged Fortune and the Inferno Cannon while the Skeleton Organ can turn into a Skeleton Jukebox and Skele-Turkey.

LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack Sales on Amazon

If you’ve been thinking of picking up LEGO Dimensions, Amazon has some good sales on the Starter Packs. The PlayStation 4 version, which has the exclusive Supergirl minifigure, is 50% off the regular price. The XBox One version is also 50% but does not have Supergirl included. The PlayStation 3 version is 40% off ($47.65) while the XBox 360 version is 36% off.

If you’re worried about the rumor of LEGO Dimensions ending, I’m pretty sure that TT Games won’t just completely shut it down. You’ll still be able to play the game but just won’t get any more updates. Besides, there’s is still plenty of content in the near future with The Goonies Level Pack (71267), Hermoine Fun Pack (71348), and LEGO City Fun Pack (71266) all coming out in May and Powerpuff Girls, Beetlejuice, and Teen Titans Go! in the distant future.
