More LEGO Summer 2016 Set Names (City, Creator, Disney, Friends, Nexo Knights, Ninjago)

Well it’s another busy day regarding information for the summer 2016 LEGO sets. There’s even more set names from various themes including City, Creator, Disney Princess, Friends, Nexo Knights, and Ninjago. These names come from Just2Good, Eurobricks, as well as NeoGAF. Some of the more interesting stuff include the volcano theme for the City line while Friends will focus an amusement park theme. LEGO 2016 Official Set Images (Partial)

I’m not sure how long these will stay up but Bothan spies (whung, CM4sci, J2G) over on Eurobricks has found a slew of LEGO 2016 set images found on LEGO’s servers already. Note that these images are official and do not have watermarks but LEGO can decide to remove them from the servers at any time. Some of the images are system sets while some are promotional or polybag sets. What sets are you looking forward to?

Update: LEGO has taken down all their links on their server but the good folks at Brickset had them backed up.

Update 2: LEGO has begun telling sites to remove the images so I’ve complied to their wish. If you’re looking for them, they’re still out there on the web. You just have to find them.

LEGO Disney Princess Frozen Late 2015 Set Descriptions

Back in July, I reported that two more LEGO Disney Princess Frozen sets will be coming out later this year. We didn’t have much to go on except for the the set names and prices but Toys R Us Canada has the sets listed online with set descriptions for Anna & Kristoff’s Sleigh Adventure (41066) and Arendelle Castle Celebration (41068) but no images at this time. As I predicted, 41066 will have Anna, Kristoff, and Sven mini-dolls while 41068 will have Elsa and Anna mini-dolls will have outfits from Frozen Fever.

LEGO 2016 Set Name Listings on Amazon.de

Today Amazon.de has upload a ton of listings for various upcoming LEGO 2016 sets. There were many posts on Eurobricks on these listings but I’ve organized them alphabetically by theme. Thanks to CM4sci for the heads up. The set names are loosely translated from German so they might not be the official names but they give you an idea of what the sets are. This list does correspond to the list that came out a few days ago.

Update: LEGO has asked sites to remove the list. Amazon.de messed up and accidentally posted it just a little bit too early. Sorry folks.

More LEGO Disney Princess Frozen Sets Coming

With the huge popularity of Disney’s Frozen movie in 2013, LEGO released the Elsa’s Sparkling Ice Castle (41062) as part of the LEGO Disney Princess theme late last year/early this year. It has been revealed over on Brickset’s database that there will be two Frozen sets coming out in the future. One is called Anna & Kristoff’s Sleigh Adventure (41066) which has a recommended retail price of $29.99. As the set name states, it will include Anna and Kristoff and most likely Krisoff’s reindeer companion Sven.

The other set that’s named in the database is the Arendelle Castle Celebration (41068). This is the home of Anna and Elsa but there aren’t any hint to which minifigures/dolls will be included in the set. I would assume that Elsa and Anna in outfits seen during the event and maybe Hans could be included but that’s just my guess. This set has a RRP of $59.99 so I think it’ll have around 400+ pieces. The release date listed on both sets say 2015 and since there was nothing announced/revealed for the summer wave sets, I think they’ll be released around the holiday season.

It’s already been announced that Frozen 2 will be released but won’t be for a while so more sets based on the first movie is a pretty good move since kids are still into the movie even after two years and the first set was extremely popular during the holiday season last year.
