LEGO DREAMZzz Theme Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed their newest in-house theme with LEGO DREAMZzz. Kids will be able to enjoy a new animated series along with an initial wave of ten sets. The first episode will be airing on May 15 with products releasing in August.

In addition, kids 6-12 can join a competition to become LEGO’s Chief Dream Creator. Chosen participants will be flown to LEGO’s headquarters in Denmark, to take part in some LEGO DREAMZzz workshops. Entry will consist of pictures or drawings of your build showing a creature or vehicle that incorporates brick building along with a story describing the build. Submissions open on May 20 and will run until June 20.

New LEGO Dreamzzz Theme Teasers Released

LEGO has posted a series of videos on their YouTube channel which teases the new LEGO Dreamzzz theme. In Kai’s dream, we can see some larger characters which could become sets such as the bunny, crocodile car, and robot. In Nya’s dream, there are some mushroom men and some colorful deer. Zane’s dream shows some sort of flying bus driven by a monkey and some shark ship looking thing and black horse chasing him. Finally Wu’s dream shows a turtle van walking by and the crocodile car from Kai’s dream.

Over on LEGO.com’s Coming Soon page, it has a countdown of something which has 27 days left as of this post. Supposedly this will be the official reveal of the LEGO Dreamzzz theme.
