LEGO Education Panama Canal (2000451) Now Available Worldwide

LEGO Education Panama Canal (2000451)

Last year, I reported on the LEGO Education Panama Canal (2000451) which was only available locally in Panama. Yesterday I’ve received an email from Juan from the marketing team at the Panama STEM website saying the set can now be purchased and shipped anywhere in the world.

It’ll still go for $249.95 but it has free Priority Mail International shipping to the US. They also ship worldwide using DHL. It’s not a bad price but if you’re a collector of these kinds of exclusive sets, it’s cheaper than what you would find on eBay.

There are over 40 hours of projects including physical, life, earth, and space sciences along with engineering and technology.

According to TechCrunch, setting up a classroom with sufficient units would cost around $2,000 and it also includes the cost of licensing.

WeDo 2.0 is now available and the software is compatible with PC, Macs, Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
