LEGO Harry Potter 2020 Advent Calendar (75981) Official Images

There are now official images of the LEGO Harry Potter 2020 Advent Calendar (75981) coming out of the German online shop Meinspielzeug. The set has 335 pieces and will be based mostly on the Yule Ball from The Goblet of Fire. The minifigures in the set include Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Padma Patil, Parvati Patil, and Cho Chang. Ask a Question to the LEGO Harry Potter Design Team

LEGO has kicked off something new over on the Reward Center where you can ask a LEGO designer a question. You’ll be able to ask a question to the LEGO Harry Potter design team of Marco Messa and graphic designer Djordje Djordjevic. The questions that are answered will be featured somewhere. No VIP points are needed, you just need to be logged in to your account.

In addition, LEGO has also quietly gave a teaser for a launch of “a very magical product” that will be coming soon. Rumor has it that it could be Diagon Alley (75978) and it will be a large scale set similar to the Hogwarts Castle (71043). The release date of this set would be in September.

For some strange reason, LEGO is now allowing pre-orders for the LEGO Harry Potter Hedwig (75979). The 630 piece set features Harry’s owl that has flapping wings when you turn the gear. LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures Series 2 (71028) Confirmed for September Release

As mentioned earlier today, the 2HY LEGO catalogs are now available and we get to see some new sets that haven’t been shown off yet. We now have confirmation that a new LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series will be coming out this September. This series has been reported to be LEGO Harry Potter Series 2 (71028). There will be 16 to collect and some of the rumored ones include:

• Professor Pomona Sprout with mandrake
• Luna Lovegood with lion hat
• Professor Albus Dumbledore – Chamber of Secrets version with Fawkes

Two New LEGO Avengers & Harry Potter Accessory Sets Coming Soon

40419 and 40419 minifigure packs

Brickset has revealed some new LEGO Minifigure Accessory Sets that will be available starting on June 1 including Avengers and Harry Potter. Since they are licensed sets, I’m guessing they will retail for $14.99 each. The Avengers Minifigure Set (40418) has 60 pieces and it includes minifigures of Falcon, Black Widow, and two A.I.M. agent along with a six round stud shooter.

The other one is the LEGO Harry Potter Minifigure Accessory Set (40419) and it will have 53 pieces. It includes minifigs of Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, Hannah Abbot, and Cho Chang, each representing a character from each house of Hogwarts.

LEGO Harry Potter Summer 2020 Sets Officially Announced

LEGO has officially announced the summer 2020 wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets that will be coming out on August 1 in the US and other parts of the world on June 1. They will also be able to be pre-ordered on April 30 in select regions. There will be six sets in the wave that encompass the various movies in the franchise.
