LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures (71022) Confirmed

Way back in January, I talked about a possible LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigure series and it looks like it has been confirmed by German toy store JB Spielwaren. It has a product listing for the LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures (71022) with a release date of September. There is a rumor going around that there will be 22 characters to collect instead of the usual 16-20 we get now with each box having 60 packs. We’ll see how the distribution comes out when reviews of the set are online in a few months.

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Sets Confirmed for July Release

A few days ago, I noted that the upcoming LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter sets were reported to be coming in July instead of the original August date. A couple of readers chimed in and said that their LEGO Store employees also said the same thing but we can now confirm that they will indeed come out in July. LEGO Shop@Home has uploaded some of the sets to the site with them stating they are coming soon on July 1. This is some awesome news especially if you’re wanted to get in on the LEGO Beach Tote promotion at the beginning of July.

Rumored LEGO Bricktober 2018 Set Details

As we all know by now, Toys R Us will be completely shutting down and from what I’m hearing from my manager, most stores will be closed by the end of June. However, this news doesn’t stop the fact that there are some rumored information about the 2018 LEGO Bricktober sets. A source has told me that there are at least three sets which will include themes like LEGO Ninjago, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, and LEGO Harry Potter.

From the Ninjago set, it will feature characters from the Son of Garmadon storyline.

For the Marvel Super Heroes set, it is said it will be an Avengers: Infinity War set featuring War Machine, Wong, Tony Stark with the Mark 50 arc reactor, and White Wolf/Bucky.

Finally for the Harry Potter set, there is Madam Rolanda Hooch, Professor Horace Slughorn, Dolores Umbridge, and Boggart Snape.

The main question is since Toys R Us is closing here in the US, where LEGO has a bigger market share compared to Canada and Asia where TRU is still operating as usual, who will now get the Bricktober exclusive? I can see LEGO doing it themselves in October similar to what TRU did every week of the month which would be the easiest way. Target or Walmart might also get their hands on it and I’ve even heard Amazon could be a potential substitute but that’s very farfetched. LEGO Reveals LEGO Harry Potter Wizarding World Sets

LEGO has officially revealed three of the upcoming LEGO Harry Potter Wizarding World sets that are slated to be released this August. The three set recreates scenes from three Harry Potter movies including The Sorcerer’s Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, and The Prizoner of Azkaban.
