LEGO October 2022 Shopping Guide

October is just a few days away and there are some new LEGO sets that will be available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. There a quite a few larger sets that will be dropping but there are also some medium sized ones that are based on Avatar as well as the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movies. Of course, we can’t forget about the latest addition to the Winter Village Collection with the Holiday Main Street.

As far as promotions go, there is one for the LEGO Ray the Castaway (40566) with purchases of $120 from October 1-13, while supplies last.

LEGO Winter Village Collection Holiday Main Street (10308) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed the latest addition to the LEGO Winter Village Collection with the Holiday Main Street (10308). Releasing on October 3 for VIPs and October 7 for the general public, the set has 1,514 pieces and retails for $99.99/€99.99/£89.99/169.99 AUD/129.99 CAD.

The set feature a a music store and a toy store along with a trolley and a Christmas tree. The Holiday Main Street will be the 13th set in the seasonal Winter Village Collection.

For 100 VIP points, you can a certain amount off the LEGO Icons Optimus Prime (10302), LEGO Icons Lion Knights’ Castle (10305), or LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor (51515). The codes only available for three days and you have until September 30 to redeem them. Unfortunately, North America does not get to be part of this promotion this time around. Maybe this is a test run to see how well it works and we’ll get it later on.

LEGO Updates Retiring Soon List – September 2022

LEGO has updated their Retiring Soon list and there are a lot of larger sets that will be going away in the next few months. Some of the sets have been around for a few years now while some have a shorter life span. Overseas has a couple more sets listed than in North America so I would go with that just to be safe. There are also some sets that are temporarily out of stock but I’ve listed them for reference in case you find them at another retailer.

Since we last seen it, it was $30 cheaper but it is now priced at $199.99 due to the price increases at the beginning of August. Let’s see how long it’ll last and if fans are willing to spend a little more on this hard to find set.
