Amazon has discounted the LEGO Ideas Tales of the Space Age (21340) by a whopping 40% which drops the price down to $39.99. This sale saves you $27 off their listed price. Not sure what’s going on here but it retails for $49.99 so really you’re saving 20% on it. Either way, the price hasn’t been this low since late May.

Bluey!! by Monkey Scout is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. This is the third time the same project has reached the goal by the fan but there are slight changes to it. The 2,395 build still has the house but it is half the size of the original one.

LEGO Ideas Jaws (21350) Officially Announced

As the quintessential Fourth of July movie, LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set with Jaws (21350). Releasing on August 3, the set has 1,497 pieces and will retail for $149.99. The set features the iconic shark in brick-built form along with the Orca boat which includes minifigures of Chief Martin Brody, Matt Hooper, and Sam Quint. Jaws can either be displayed on the seawater base or on its own stand. The base has a printed time with Chief Brody’s famous line, “You’re gonna need a bigger boat.”

LEGO has also released their first ever “brick-buster” mini-film called JAWS…in a Jiffy which you can watch here and it is a 90 second film retelling the Jaws movie.
