If you saw my (late) review of The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) a few days ago, you saw that I was able to get three complete sets from my “box.” Since I did get some extras, I might as well do a quick giveaway for one (1) complete set. I’m a bit late to the game but I’ve finally got my review set for The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) to check out. There are a total of 20 minifigures to collect in this wave and each character has a tie-in to the movie. They are currently widely available at major retailers around the world.

The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) Box Distribution Revealed

The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) will be released in a few weeks or earlier depending on if the retailer decides to put them out ahead of time. I’ve been asked many times so far of the box distribution of the minifigures and it has been confirmed by Promobricks that there will be three complete sets in a box.

What’s even more interesting is that each row of 20 is a complete set of minifigures. If that’s the case, there’s not much randomness to them and a brand new box will guarantee you a set without even feeling for them. I’m not sure if LEGO will change that later on but I doubt that it will at this point. If you do find a box in the wild, let us know if that’s the case.

The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) Character Images

A few days ago, we got our first look at The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) and thanks to Promobricks, B&B Spielwaren, and Argos, we now have official images and names of the individual characters in the set. The minifigures will be available starting in February but they have already been found in Denmark. Which one(s) are you looking forward to the most?

The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) Box Art & Packaging

An image of The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) were revealed yesterday and now, an German online retailer has posted the box art and packaging for the set. If you look closely, do you see something different? If you guessed the packaging, you are correct. This new TLM2 minifigure series will be using similar packaging as the Unikitty Collectible Series (41775) which is slightly taller and the parts are in a bag inside another bag. This change could make feeling for a partiuclar minifigure somewhat more difficult as there is another layer of protection to go through. Some of the larger minifigures with unique pieces like the crayon, giraffe, and watermelon will still be easy to find but some characters will smaller parts will be a bit harder. The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) First Look

Folks on the other side of the world have started to receive their 2019 January-May LEGO catalog along with the LEGO Life magazine and we now have a first look at the upcoming The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023). We’ve already seen a few of them during my review of The Awesomest, Most Amazing, Most Epic Movie Guide in the Universe but now we get to see the rest of the lineup. The most surprising minifigures include the ones from The Wizard of Oz which consists of Dorothy with Toto, Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and the Scarecrow. We’ll know the names of all The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures when LEGO decides to officially announce them which should be really soon since they will be available starting in February.
