LEGO Ninjago The Gardens of Ninjago City (71741) Teaser

It looks like physical copies of the German 2021 LEGO catalogs are going out and inside seems to be a teaser for the rumored LEGO Ninjago The Gardens of Ninjago City (71741). We reported about this set back in August and it is supposedly an expansion set for Ninjago City (70620). Some updated information from Promobricks suggests that it will have around 3,500 pieces and have almost 20 minifigures. The price of it will be about €299.99. From the image above, the set looks to be in the background behind Master Wu the caption says it set will be available starting in May.

LEGO Ninjago Legacy Tournament of Elements (71735)

The next set from the 2021 LEGO Ninjago theme that I will be checking out is the Tournament of Elements (71735) which is a Legacy set based on the Dojo Showdown (70756) from 2015. It has 283 pieces and retails for $29.99 and will be available starting on January 1 along with the rest of the Ninjago sets.

LEGO Ninjago Boulder Blaster (71736)

LEGO will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of LEGO Ninjago in 2021 and the newest wave will have something special in a few of the sets to commemorate the event. In these sets, there will be a golden minifigure of one of the ninjas included, with a total of six to collect. The first set that we’ll be taking a look at is the Boulder Blaster (71736) which is a Legacy set based on scenes from Season 4 of LEGO Ninjago Tournament of Elements. It has 449 pieces and will retail for $39.99.

LEGO 2021 Polybags Revealed

If you’re a LEGO polybag collector, there is a slew of new 2021 polybags that have been revealed for a wide range of themes. There are even some very cool ingenious ones you may enjoy. Expect to find them at various retailers including LEGOLAND and LEGOLAND Discovery Centers next year.

New LEGO 2021 Sets Revealed in LEGO Catalog

A short while ago, the LEGO Jan-May 2021 New Zealand Catalog was released and there are a lot of sets shown that we haven’t seen before from a number of themes. The most interesting ones for me are the LEGO Ninjago ones which has an old-school Islanders feel to them with the new season of LEGO Ninjago: the Island.

LEGO Ninjago 2021 Sets Revealed

Online shop Van Der Meulen has posted product pages for the 2021 LEGO Ninjago sets. Most of the sets are from the smaller Epic Battle Sets which include a couple of minifigures and a slew of accessories. There are more sets in the wave but they weren’t listed on Van Der Meulen so we won’t post them at this time.

LEGO Ninjago Voice Actor, Kirby Morrow, Passes Away

In some sad news today, LEGO Ninjago voice actor, Kirby Morrow, has passed away at the age of 47. Fans of the show will best know him as the voice of Cole but he is also known for voices for many other animated shows like Cyclops from X-Men Evolution and Miroku in the InuYasha English dub. In addition to other LEGO projects, he also did voices for LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales and LEGO Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar.

LEGO Ninjago co-creator Tommy Andreasen has shared some thoughts about Kirby.
