The Legacy of LEGO Ninjago

A few days ago, I did a post regarding the upcoming season of LEGO Ninjago: Secrets of the Forbiddedn Spinjitzu and it seemed to be pretty popular among you guys, especially on Twitter. LEGO has released a blog post on the LEGO Ambassador Network with an interview with Tommy Andreasen, Tommy Kalmar, and Michael Svane Knap talking about the legacy of LEGO Ninjago. The main subject matter is about the new Legacy sets and how they are designed to look like the things from the show as compared to the original ones from years past. As far as future LEGO Ninjago sets are concerned, they have this to say about it,

There are still mountains of LEGO NINJAGO stuff to do, and despite what Tommy A says, the team hasn’t run out of ideas.

“We hope to have more launches—we could do ideas from tv show which never made it into products… there’s so many things from the NINJAGO universe,” he adds.

“I have more locations on my list as well which could be interesting. There are still golden opportunities from the epic final battle to explore and beef up,” Michael hints and smiles.

LEGO Ninjago: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu Special Announcement

LEGO Ninjago

Hey LEGO Ninjago fans, there is a special announcement from the Ninjago team coming from the LEGO Ambassador Network that they would like to share. They talk about the upcoming season which will be a brand new adventure and it will have 30 episodes of 11 minutes each. The teaser for NINJAGO: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu will be coming on May 26. If you have any questions to ask the Ninjago team, let us know in the comments and I’ll pass them along.

NINJA NEVER QUIT

‘NINJAGO: ‘March of the Oni’ marks the conclusion to an epic storyline which started in 2018. After a little vacation-time, it’s time for the ninja to get ready for a brand-new adventure! The upcoming TV season will have 30 episodes of 11 minutes each, making it the ninjas’ biggest adventure yet. The season picks up shortly after ‘March of the Oni’ and remains true to the story canon and the characters.

This is not a reboot, nor a spin-off, but merely a brand-new adventure. A fresh beginning helps new viewers to watch and discover the magic of NINJAGO without knowing much about the 100 episodes prior. But if you do know your NINJAGO canon, it will be a fun and fast refresher-course, as we get everyone back up to speed. We want to make sure that NINJAGO is a welcoming experience.

The new season marks the beginning of a new chapter in the world of NINJAGO. Whereas the first chapter was heavily tied to a 22 min serialized TV

LEGO Ninjago Lloyd's Titan Mech (70676)

Earlier today, the official images of the summer 2019 LEGO Ninjago sets were found on meinspielzeug.ch. There is a variety of sets in the wave ranging from vehicles to mechs and it looks like some of the environments are set in the snow and desert. I really do like the new nine-tailed fox, aka Kumiho, mold in the smallest set. Check them out below. Thanks to everyone who emailed in about it.

LEGO Ninjago March of the Oni Teaser Images

LEGO Ninjago March of the Oni

The 100th episode of LEGO Ninjago – Master of Spinjitzu is coming soon and LEGO has teased some ominous images of what we could be expecting in the upcoming season. In the main image, it shows March of the Oni which is the story arc name and the caption states, “Endings will always come…all we can do is fight to make them good ones.” Could this mean the end of LEGO Ninjago in its current form? The captions on the character images also show that something bad could be happening to the ninjas.

We already know that the Hageman Brothers have left the series as writers and Bragi Schut has taken the reigns. What do you think will happen with LEGO Ninjago in the March of the Oni?
