LEGO Speed Champions McLaren 720S (75880) Box Art

There is now an official image of the box art for the upcoming LEGO Speed Champions McLaren 720S (75880) coming out of Carscoops. We’ve already seen the product images last month which shows that instead of the drivers we’re used to getting, we’re actually getting a designer and his desk with a drawing board. There’s no word on piece count or pricing but I assume it’ll be at $14.99 like the other single car sets.

LEGO Speed Champions Sale at Toys R Us

The Toys R Us Spring Sale has kicked off and they have some really good in-store and online sales on LEGO Speed Champions sets. The first set is the Ford F-150 Raptor & Ford Model A Hot Rod (75875) which is going for $24.99 which is $40 off the TRU pricing of $64.99 or $25 or the MSRP of $49.99 . This in-store promotion is valid until April 8, while supplies last.

The other LEGO Speed Champions set that is on sale is the Porsche 911GT Finish Line (75912). This set is also going for $24.99 which is $25 off the normal price of $49.99. It look like this offer is for both online and in-stores although it is sold out online at the moment. This promo runs until April 15, while supplies last.

LEGO Speed Champions McLaren 720S (75880) Official Images

A few weeks ago, LEGO revealed the new LEGO Speed Champions McLaren 720s (75880) and there are now official images of the set. There are some slight differences between these images and the ones from before. The McLaren 720s itself seems to be the same however the designer minifigure’s hair is different.

LEGO design manager Craig Callum did an interview with Top Gear and he gave some details about the set as well as the LEGO Speed Champions theme.

The McLaren 720S (75880) will be available later this year for probably $14.99, similar to the other single vehicle sets.

LEGO Speed Champions McLaren 720S (75880) Revealed

LEGO has revealed the new LEGO Speed Champions McLaren 720S (75880) over on their Facebook Page. There isn’t much information on it but it does say that it will be available in June. I’m assuming that it will be the same size and the $14.99 price point as the individual Speed Champions vehicles.

Update: DriveTribe has more images of the McLaren 720S. The set will also include a McLaren designer instead of a driver and his design office desk.

LEGO Speed Champions Bugatti Chiron (75878) Review

The LEGO Speed Champions theme is still going strong in 2017 and one of the new sets I’ll be reviewing is the Bugatti Chiron (75878). The set retails for $14.99 and has 181 pieces. The contents of teh box include four un-numbered bags, one of which is a bag of rims, the chassis, instructions, and sticker sheet.

LEGO New York Toy Fair Set Images

The 2017 New York Toy Fair has kicked off and we’re teaming up with our friends at The Brick Show to bring you coverage of the event. There are a lot of summer 2017 LEGO sets being displayed on the show floor from a variety of LEGO themes.

LEGO Speed Champions Winter 2017 Official Box Art Images

LEGO Speed Champions Ferrari FXX K & Development Center (75882)

Last week, we saw the product images of the Winter 2017 LEGO Speed Champions sets and today we now have the box art images courtesy of an anonymous reader. Again, we have images of five of the sets with the Mercedes Pit Stop (75880) being a store exclusive so no images of that set yet. This wave should be in stores late February/early March.
