LEGO Rebrick Freighter Wars Winners Announced

A few months ago, I reported on a LEGO Rebrick contest called Freighter Wars in which you are to build your own version of the YT Corellian to potentially win the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192). The contest is now over and there were almost 1,600 entries but the grand prize winner went to Nuno_0937 who created the Rebel Phoenix which is the shape of the Alliance Starbird. For being chosen the winner, Nuno_0937 will be receiving the following prizes:

– 75192 Millennium Falcon signed by the designer
– 6176782 Escape the Space Slug
– Exclusive artwork signed by artists from Lucasfilm
– A certificates of winning

There were also a couple of runner-up winners as well as bonus winners which you can check out in the video below.

LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz Darth Vader Coming in 2018

The LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz Rey & Kylo Ren (41489) is now available and inside is a teaser of another upcoming Star Wars BrickHeadz. Shown on the insert is the blank BrickHeadz but the shadow behind it shows Darth Vader that is coming in 2018. Hopefully the helmet is done in a more eye-pleasing way and not like Captain Phasma.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Official Set Images

World of Games has posted set listings and official images of the 2018 LEGO Star Wars sets which is probably the most anticipated theme. The Microfighters are returning and there’s some new two packs for them. Also coming back are the Buildable Figures which look very nice. The main thing in this wave are the Star Wars: The Last Jedi sets so read on if you’re not afraid of spoilers read on but I’ll hide the images behind the spoiler tag just to be safe.

LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz Rey & Kylo Ren (41489) Available Black Friday for All

Last week, the official images of the Target exclusive limited edition LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz (41489) were released and REDcard members were able to purchase it online while non-cardholders were out of luck. I’ve now been told that the in-store street date for the set is Black Friday for everyone to purchase. It will retail for $19.99 and the DPCI# is 204-00-0293.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Descriptions

Russian online shop Exoforce.ru has released details of set names and descriptions of some 2018 LEGO Star Wars sets. These are translated from Russian so it might not be that accurate. Be warned, some of the sets will be based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi so there may be some spoilers. Also note that these are not all the sets that will be released in a few weeks.

Ski Speeder vs. First Order Walker (75195) – Defeat the First Order’s Storm Walker with the help of a super-speeder equipped with skis! Plant the pilot of the resistance spider and the First Order troopers in their cabins, ready the guns and get set for an exciting adventure. The set also includes a small shelter with additional weapons and ammunition for even more exciting battles!

A-Wing vs. TIE Silencer Microfighters (75916) – Play out the space battle between the Kyle Ren TIE Fighter and the A-Wing Fighter of the Resistance! LEGO Star Wars Target Micro Millennium Falcon

The third week of the Target holiday promotions are now underway and for this week you can get the LEGO Star Wars Micro Millennium Falcon polybag. You can get it for free with a purchase of $24.99 or more on LEGO Star Wars products or you can get it by itself for $4.99 each. This micro Millennium Falcon appears to be the same exact build as the one from the 2015 Star Wars Celebration. The only difference is the printed baseplate. If you’re searching for it in store, the DPCI# is 204-00-0266.
