LEGO Star Wars Slave I – 20th Anniversary Edition (75243) Review

LEGO Star Wars Slave I - 20th Anniversary Edition (75243)

On my last review of the LEGO Star Wars 20th Anniversary Edition sets, I have the Slave I (75243). It has 1,007 pieces and retails for $119.99. This set is the only one from the anniversary series that I have the original 8097 version of it so I’ll be able to do a comparison between the two.

Next LEGO Star Wars UCS Set Reported to be $699

It’s never too early to speculate about the fall 2019 LEGO Star Wars UCS set and it looks like rumors have already started over on Reddit. A user was at their local LEGO store and an employee mentioned they already have a placeholder for the next UCS set in the system and it will be priced at $699. The thread has many people suggesting it could be a new Star Destroyer as there aren’t that many vehicles in the Star Wars Universe that could command a high price point. The last UCS version of the ship was the 10221 version from 2011 and the latest retail release of the ship was the First Order Star Destroyer (75190) from 2017.

As an eBay Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

I can not say that the next UCS set will be a Star Destroyer as I haven’t heard any rumors about it or maybe I’m not looking hard enough or care to. Again, everything above is considered a rumor until LEGO announces it. We do know that LEGO does usually release a Star Wars UCS/Master Builder Series set around September/October so we’ll just have to wait until then to hear more about what’s coming up when the teasers start showing up on social media.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Gameplay Details Revealed

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was announced a few days ago and today TT Games has revealed some gameplay details. The first bullet point is that it is built brick by brick from the ground up with new tech. As I mentioned before, it is rumored that the game would use procedurally generated worlds which is somewhat new as it has been used in recent LEGO games.

In the game, you’ll be able to play all nine films in any order and explore the galaxy while flying from planet to planet. Also there will be voices so I assume it’ll have voice lines from the movies.

There will be 200+ characters to use which is quite a lot and there will be over-the-shoulder shooting along with melee combos and new Force powers.

All in all, it sounds like it’ll be a pretty cool game once it’s released. Hopefully we’ll see more details next month when San Diego Comic Con rolls around.
