If you’ve been keeping up with my updates for San Diego Comic Con 2018 in regards to LEGO items and events, you would know there has been a lot of info but here’s a roundup of everything LEGO happening during SDCC 2018. LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary – New Edition Coming in 2019

Every year we get new LEGO Star Wars sets and for physical media, they have to release new material to keep the content updated. Amazon has listed a new LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary – New Edition that is tentatively slated to come out April 1, 2019. We’ve already gotten some visual dictionaries before for LEGO Star Wars such as the original one from 2009 and the Updated and Expanded version from 2014. It has been four years since the last book and will be almost five when the New Edition comes out next year. The book will cover a majority of the sets and minifigures that have been released the past few years. Like with many other LEGO DK books, there will be an exclusive minifigure that will be included but we probably won’t know who it is until sometime next year.

Currently, you can’t pre-order the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary – New Edition just yet but I’ll let you know when you are able to.

If you’ve been holding off on getting the LEGO Star Wars UCS Snowspeeder (75144), Walmart, of all places, currently has it on sale for 20% off and it is going for $159.95. If you’ve been collecting the UCS set, you would know that UCS sets usually don’t go on sale on LEGO Shop@Home so getting any kind of discount on it is a good deal. Even with the Double VIP Points promotion going on Shop@Home right now, the 20% discount is still the better deal and an even greater one for a pretty awesome set. LEGO Star Wars Porg (75230) Confirmed to be Coming

Last year, LEGO released the LEGO Star Wars BB-8 (75187) which was a large scale model of the character and it turned out to be a pretty successful set. It looks like LEGO will continue with that trend of producing larger scale builds and Brickshop.nl has confirmed that there will be a Porg (75230) coming out later this year. Consisting of 811 pieces and retailing for €79.99, LEGO is hoping the adorable furry creature will bring them the same success as it did with BB-8.

Even though I’m a Star Wars fan, admittedly, I have not seen Solo: A Star Wars Story, however, there are new official images of a few more LEGO Star Wars sets for the movie. Again, I don’t have any context for the sets but those who have already watched the movie know what scenes they are portraying.

LEGO Star Wars SDCC 2018 Millennium Falcon Cockpit (75512) Revealed

LEGO has revealed one of the upcoming San Diego Comic Con 2018 exclusive sets with the LEGO Star Wars Solo Millennium Falcon Cockpit (75512). The set has 203 pieces and will retail for $40 at the convention. There’s no word of if it’ll be using the same process as before in the Sails Pavilion or if it’ll use the new lottery system. I’ll be trying to get it once SDCC starts so hopefully luck is on my side. Stay tuned for more LEGO SDCC 2018 reveals in the next few days.
