LEGO Super Mario VIP Rewards Available in Rewards Center

LEGO has launched some new LEGO Super Mario VIP rewards in the Rewards Center. For 500 points, you can get the LEGO Luigi keychain which is sent through a code that you use during your next checkout. LEGO is also giving out free 200 My Nintendo Platinum points which you can redeem on https://my.nintendo.com/. While you’re there, My Nintendo has the LEGO Mario keychain for 400 Nintendo Platinum points. You’ll have to pay shipping for that.

For 50 LEGO VIP points, there are some digital downloads which includes some wallpapers to use on PC and phone. Lastly, there’s a sweepstakes for the Golden Key Chain set + LEGO VIP x My Nintendo Prize Pack. For 50 VIP points (50 maximum entries), you can enter to win the Mario and Luigi keychains but with a gold back in addition to the 71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course, 71387 Adventures with Luigi Starter Course, 71391 Bowser’s Airship Expansion Set.

LEGO Super Mario Coins Found in LEGO Stores

The past few days, social media has been lit up with some new LEGO Super Mario coins that people have been getting at LEGO Stores. The coins feature Mario in either a gold or silver finish. The distribution of it is unknown as various stores around the world have done different things to give them away. I’ve been asked many times about it and I honestly don’t know what the correct answer is except asking your store about it.

There’s been an aggregation of various ways people have gotten their coins on the LAN which consists of the following.

North America

• A store in Canada gave them out with any purchase made.
• A New Jersey store had children interact with a themed scanner device. The device would display a result of “gold” or “silver” coin, and the child would receive that coin. A small scavenger hunt had to be attempted beforehand.
• An Ohio store has the scanner, but no scavenger hunt.
• A different Ohio store has the scavenger hunt, but no scanner.
* A store in Utah gave them out only to people who purchased Adventures with Luigi Starter Course.
• A store in Canada gave them out with any purchase made.

UK

• In England, distribution began August 4th at Leicester Square and Southampton stores. No known requirements.
• The Edinburgh store gave them away to people who took photos of 5 Mario figures hidden around the store.

The LEGO Super Mario Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle (71369) is currently on sale on Amazon for 20% off. The set was named Playset of the Year by the Toy Association earlier this year for its innovative play features. It is priced at $79.98 which is $20 off the normal retail price for this 1,010 piece set.

New August 2021 LEGO Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop

It’s finally August and that means that LEGO has released a ton of new sets for purchase on the LEGO Shop. This includes some of the sets that had delayed releases as compared to other parts of the world. There are some larger sets for AFOLs including the UCS Republic Gunship (75309) and the Volkswagen T2 Camper Van (10279). Also dropping for VIPs from August 1-3 is the LEGO Ideas Sailboat Adventure (40487) which you can get with purchases of $200 or more, while supplies last. The general public can get in the deal from Augusts 4-29.

Some other promotions that you can get include the LEGO Classic Masters’ Book of Secrets (5006978) with Classic purchases of $60 or more and the LEGO Marvel Shang-Chi and the Great Protector (30454) polybag with Marvel purchases of $40 or more.

LEGO August 2021 Sets to be Released Tonight

Tonight at midnight EST, LEGO is set to drop the summer 2021 sets on the LEGO Shop. If you don’t know what will be coming out, below is a list of everything that should be available for purchase. For the US, there are more new sets than the rest of the world since we had a delayed release for a few themes.
