LEGO Super Mario: Mario Kart Official Set Images

There are now official images of the upcoming wave of LEGO Super Mario: Mario Kart sets via German retailer Lucky Bricks. They were a surprise announcement during Gamescom last month and will feature a number of characters (in brick-built form) from the long-running Mario Kart series from Nintendo.

Gamescom 2024 is underway and LEGO has officially revealed six new LEGO Super Mario: Mario Kart sets! They will be available in January 2025 and these sets include a number of characters from the Mario Kart series which are true to what you see while playing the game.

3, 2, 1… GO! The LEGO Group Reveals First-Ever LEGO® Super Mario™: Mario Kart™ Sets

The LEGO® Super Mario™: Mario Kart™ sets were officially revealed at gamescom, an annual trade show for gamers held in Cologne, alongside three new LEGO® Animal Crossing™ sets.

Cologne, Germany, August 21, 2024: Today at gamescom, the LEGO Group revealed six never-before-seen LEGO® Super Mario™: Mario Kart™ sets, bringing Nintendo’s iconic Mario Kart franchise to the world of LEGO bricks for the very first time.

The addition of Mario Kart adds an entirely new dimension to the LEGO Super Mario experience, in which digital and physical play collide in the most spectacular fashion together. LEGO August 2024 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop

August is now here and it is one of the biggest months for LEGO releases here in North America and the LEGO Shop is now stocked with the summer 2024 LEGO sets.

LEGO Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi (71438) Revealed

Singapore LEGO Certified Store The Brick Shop has revealed a new LEGO Super Mario World set with Mario & Yoshi (71438). The 1,215 piece set features a sprite version of Mario and Yoshi with a gear on the side to move Yoshi’s legs to resemble it running. The set is currently shown at San Diego Comic Con 2024 at the LEGO Booth and is listed as an October 1 release.

Update: You can now pre-order it on the LEGO Shop for $129.99. It will be released on October 1.

LEGO Super Mario World Set Teaser at San Diego Comic Con 2024

At the LEGO Booth at San Diego Comic Con 2024, there could be a LEGO Super Mario set teaser at one of the displays. Our friend Dan Veesenmeyer took a picture of the inside the booth and in the background, you can see Mario riding Yoshi built in sprites. There’s a rumor going around that there could be a set coming in October featuring Super Mario World and this build could be teasing that particular set.
