LEGOLAND Water Park (40473) Now Available for Purchase

The new LEGOLAND exclusive Water Park (40473) is now available for purchase at the LEGOLAND California Shop. The set has 360 pieces and retails for $39.99. The set was revealed last month and it includes a couple of slides as well as a couple of surrounding amenities. The shipping on it, unfortunately, is quite high at $9.95. There’s no word yet if Target will have it since they have started selling LEGOLAND exclusive sets.

LEGOLAND® fans aged 7 and up can relive the thrills and chills of their favorite water park with this fun build. It’s packed with details from the real water park including the tower, 2 slides, tip bucket, 2 pools, a shower with lockers, a garbage can, 2 recliners and a side table, plus a wheeled café. The 4 LEGO® minifigures include an employee, plus a mom, dad and boy in swimwear. There’s a cute baby figure with a stroller and bottle and the set also features the iconic park map and stickers.

LEGOLAND Exclusives Now Available Online at Target

As reported last week, Target is now selling LEGOLAND exclusive sets and they have now also been added online for you to purchase. Currently, there are four sets that are available and they are listed $10 less than what they go for on the LEGOLAND online shop. In addition, you can also save 5% on your purchase if you have the Target RedCard.

Target to Start Selling LEGOLAND Exclusive Sets

There are reports that Target will be start selling LEGOLAND exclusive sets in stores. The street date for the sets is April 11. People have been finding various LEGOLAND sets in various locations in the US including Ninjago World (40429) and the Fire Academy (40393). It also seems that Target will be selling the sets a little cheaper than at LEGOLAND’s online shops. Have you been able to find any of the LEGOLAND exclusives at Target stores yet?

LEGOLAND California Reopening April 1

LEGOLAND California has announced that they will be reopening the park for Preview Days starting on April 1 and officially opening on April 15. With COVID restrictions moving to a lower tier, theme parks can now open with limited capacity. LEGOLAND ha been closed for over year now and they are excited to once again have guests.

(March 19, 2021) – LEGOLAND® California Resort is excited to offer Park Preview Days with access to select rides and attractions beginning April 1, 2021, under California’s reopening health and safety guidelines with official reopening on April 15, 2021. After closing its gates one year ago, the theme park built for kids is offering priority access to Hotel guests, pass holders and existing ticket holders impacted by COVID-19 Park closure, for the month of April.

Park Preview Days offers access to select rides including Driving School, LEGO® TECHNIC™ Coaster, Fairy Tale Brook and Coastersaurus. Kids and families can also enjoy socially distant character meet and greets, live entertainment, a wide variety of food options and Miniland U.S.A.

LEGOLAND Water Park (40473) Exclusive Revealed

Polish site Promoklocki has posted images of a new LEGOLAND exclusive set with the Water Park (40473). It has 359 pieces and it features double water slides and has four minifigures along with a baby. The set will be exclusive to LEGOLAND parks and LEGOLAND Discovery Centers around the world and will most likely be available online at the LEGOLAND shops as well.

LEGOLAND DIY Mixed-Up LEGO Build-A-Minifigure Station Sale – December 2020

LEGOLAND California currently has an interesting item on sale for 59% off and that is the DIY Mixed-Up LEGO Build-A-Minifigure Station. Normally priced at $481.61, it is now priced at $199.99 and the whole setup consists of five 2×2 LEGO storage cubes for the Build-A-Minifigure parts and 510 minifigure parts (102 legs/skirts, 102 torsos, 102 hats/hair pieces, and 102 accessories). The kit will also include exclusive torsos from LEGOLAND as well as super hero capes from San Diego Comic Con.

LEGO Masters Finale Builds Displayed at LEGOLAND California

LEGOLAND California LEGO Masters

A few days ago, the LEGOLAND California Big Shop reopened to the public and there are some new LEGO Masters display items that you can check while you’re shopping. The season finale of LEGO Masters featured three teams including Sam & Jessica, Mark & Boone, and Tyler & Amy, with the winner of season one being Tyler & Amy. Spread out in the Big Shop are the final builds the teams created and you can check them out up close to actually see how massive the builds are. The Big Shop will also be open to the public, with parking free of charge, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekend and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays.
