San Diego Comic Con 2024 is now over and I finally have some time to recap the LEGO happenings during the event. As we saw in the preview post, the LEGO Booth this year was space themed with them showcasing many of the newer LEGO space sets for various themes.
They also showcased some upcoming sets such as the LEGO The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree (77092) the newly announced LEGO Super Mario World Mario & Yoshi (71438) and LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures (71047).
In terms of exclusives, fans took part in a building a spaceship to put on the wall. In return they could get a fabric sticker patch featuring the white classic space minifigure.
In addition, there was also the LEGO Space Explorer’s Challenge where you have to take part in various missions during SDCC for a chance to win a prize pack consisting of some LEGO Marvel comics, some posters given out there, the gold LEGO Masters Keychain, the LEGO Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader minifigure, as well as the white LEGO Masters minifigure which you could say was the main LEGO chase this year. The prize pack was given out to 20 people each day so there was 80 total packs. I’ve been told there were only 135 of these minifigures made, 80 to the prize packs and 55 for the LEGO Masters signings.
