The LEGO Movie Fandango Ticket Bonus Offer

Fandango is the first movie ticket outlet in the States to offer a bonus for purchasing tickets to The LEGO Movie. The bonus is a free download of “Everything is Awesome (Sing-A-Long Instrumental Version) from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. This bonus is nothing compared to the one across the pond where they are able to get either the Pyjamas Emmet or the Radio DJ Robot minifigure polybags. Hopefully other ticket outlets will have bonuses for purchasing tickets to The LEGO Movie as well.

The LEGO Movie The Emmet Awards

From February until July, The LEGO Movie will be hosting The Emmet Awards. It is their BIGGEST, little awards show ever! LEGO will be holding some monthly building contests in different categories from directing your own trailer to making something ordinary to extraordinary. Every contest will have five nominees chosen and an overall winner will be chosen from those nominees. If you’re lucky, you may get to win some cool prizes. We’ll have more details one the contest starts.

The LEGO Movie Display at LEGOLAND California

A fellow reader of the site and contact, let’s call him “Bob,” has sent me some images of some brand new The LEGO Movie models that are currently displayed at the LEGOLAND California Hotel for guests to see. The various scenes were created by the LEGO builders at the park and were based off screenshots and concept art from Warner Bros. Check out all the different scenes in the movie that is in the model. We will have more The LEGO Movie images from LEGOLAND this weekend.

The LEGO Movie – Behind the Bricks Featurette on iTunes

The LEGO Movie has released an exclusive featurette on iTunes called Behind the Bricks. This 4 minute video goes behind the scenes of the movie and interviews the cast while they are stil in character. There are some more new scenes added and you can also hear some characters talk for the first time including Alison Brie as Uni-Kitty, Charlie Day as Benny, and Nick Offerman as MetalBeard. You may have to download QuickTime Player to see the video. If you aren’t able to watch it, it’ll probably be on YouTube in the near future and we’ll embed it below when it is available.

The LEGO Movie Video Game Xbox Achievement List Revealed

The LEGO Movie Video Game is still weeks away from release but XboxAchievements has revealed the achievement list for the Xbox version of the game. There are a total of 48 achievements for a total of 1000 points to unlock throughout the game. The Playstation version of the trophies will have similar achievements broken down by rarity.

The LEGO Movie Benny Minifigure Revealed

One of the directors and writers of The LEGO Movie, Chris Miller, has tweeted out a image of the Benny minifigure from the one of the future LEGO Movie sets. As you can see, he has a worn down look with a faded symbol on the torso as well as his signature cracked helmet. Benny will be available in next month’s release of MetalBeard’s Sea Cow (70810) as well as in Benny’s Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
