Today, LEGO celebrates the 130th birthday of Ole Kirk Kristiansen, the founder of the company. Ole jump started a company with wooden toys that would eventually evolve into our favorite building toy with the help of his son Godtfred. Unfortunately, Ole wouldn’t be able to see the success of the building blocks but his spirit lives on in the creations that we build.
