One of the current promotions going on LEGO Shop@Home and at LEGO Brand Stores is for the LEGO Disney Frozen 2 Olaf’s Traveling Sleigh (40361). This 97 piece set is free with purchases of $50 or more in Frozen 2 sets.
Minifigure
There’s only one minifigure in this set and it is an updated version of Olaf. The body is now one whole piece instead of being several bricks stacked on top of each other. There’s also some printing of his buttons as well as some metallic blue snowflakes. His accessories include a pair of skis and a couple of ski poles.
Build
The build consists of the main sleigh and a smaller cart. The front of the sleigh has a spot for Olaf with a small storage box for his skis and poles. Behind that is an orange colored present that contains a purple bow inside. Removing the present gives a seat for another character to sit in if you like.
The second cart has enough room for just the Christmas tree. The tree is a decent looking one that uses various slope pieces as well as wedge plates. The cart connects to the sleigh using a short pearl-gold chain.
Results
Overall the LEGO Disney Frozen 2 Olaf’s Traveling Sleigh (40361) is a fun little promo item only if you’re already picking up some of the other Frozen 2 sets. It’s a cute set but the $50 purchase limit seems to be a tad high. I think the $35 limit would have been much more appealing. The promotional period for this set runs until October 20.
