LEGO has just released a few new LEGO Disney sets and we’re checking out Heihei (43272) first. It has 566 pieces and retails for $39.99.

The build starts with the feet which are built exactly the same way. There are four toes on each leg and they are spread out in a half circle.

Going up, there are several sets of tail feathers. The green ones are on hinges so they can move up and down a little while the blue ones are static. Then we have the three long teal ones. The base of them are are click hinges and the other two sections are just clipped on. This allows the tail to be sturdy while having some movement on the end parts.

If you built the LEGO Fortnite Supply Llama (77071), the body and the neck are built very similarly but instead uses a lot of bright colored half circle tiles for the feathers. The front and back of the neck uses more larger slope pieces. There’s also some small wings on ball joints.

For the head, we have the comically large, bulging eyes on the sides of the comb. It technically can turn a full 360 since it’s connected just on a pin.

He stands on a display stand that has flowers surrounding the toes. The front of the stand has a printed tile with his name which is nice.

Overall the LEGO Disney Heihei (43272) is a very good model of the colorful chicken. The set is suited more as a display model instead of a play set which is fine. He does look pretty good and I don’t really have any major issues with it. The only minor thing that I had with it was the legs sometimes pop off.

Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
