LEGO celebrates their 90th anniversary this year and one of the promotions for this year is the Forest Hideout (40567). The set has 258 pieces and you can get it for free with purchases of $150 or more while supplies last. The set is a reimagining of the Forestmen’s Hideout (6054) from 1988.
There are two minifigures in the set, a male and female from the Forestmen faction. Both have the same torso and legs with the male having a bow and arrow and the female having the sword.
The first part of the build includes a target practice for the bow and arrow Forestman.
The hideout itself looks extremely similar to its predecessor with the hollow tree that opens up to reveal a ladder that goes up to a barrel.
The front of the hideout has a couple of the Forestmen shields that are hang high above.
Overall the LEGO Forest Hideout (40567) is a great set that pays homage to the original one. Again, it is available with purchases of $150 or more while supplies last.
Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
