Continuing with my reviews of the recent LEGO Harry Potter sets, we now check out the Hogwarts: Room of Requirement (76413). It has 587 pieces and retails for $49.99.
Minifigures
Although this set is a medium sized one, it has five minifigures included, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, and the Helena Ravenclaw as the Grey Lady. Harry is in his Deathly Hallows: Part 2 outfit which is the more casual one with the tan jacket and blue pants. His double-sided head shows him with a smile on one side and a stern look on the other.
Hermione has on a blue jacket over a lavender hoodie. Her double-sided head shows her with a smile on one side and an angry face on the other.
Malfoy is in his black shirt and tie with some green on the inside shirt. His double-sided head shows him with an angry expression on one side and a scared look on the other.
Blaise just has on the Slytherin sweater uniform. He only has a single-sided head.
The Grey Lady looks like what her name is. She is in an all gray dress with her white double-sided head showing a concerned look on one side and an angry expression on the other.
Build
The Room of Requirement is another set that is used for the minifigure scale Hogwarts Castle. The room is shrunk down to just a little area even though the room was much bigger in the movie. Here we have some double doors that are hidden by a wall that slides open.
Inside the room, there’s a lot of recognizable items seen in the movie. On the right side, there are a couple of cabinets and shelves stacked up with a Cornish Pixie standing on top. There’s also a candle, a bust and a goblet behind a glass window.
On the left side, there’s another goblet behind a glass window along with a record player. Behind that is an uneven stack of boxes with the chair at the top with Ravenclaw’s diadem.
Also in this area, we have the Fiendfyre which you can have as a whole serpent or you can take apart and put it in various spots using the pins.
The upper level doesn’t have too much except for a sink and faucet. Above that is a smaller area with a scroll.
Results
Overall the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts: Room of Requirement (76413) is a somewhat borderline decent set. The lower level looks very good and the hidden wall is a nice touch. I do like the amount of stuff in the room although it doesn’t fill up the whole room like in the movie. The Fiendfyre doesn’t look too good but at least you can disassemble it to put it in various spots so it looks like the whole place is on fire. The upper levels of the castle is the opposite of the lower part and is quite bland.
Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
