A week ago, we reported that the LEGO Legends of Chima Leonidas’ Jungle Dragster Polybag (30253) was available at Toys R Us. Today, we went there and saw they were for sale on a display rack and we decided to pick up a couple. The set contains 30 pieces and retails for $4.99, a pretty high $0.17/piece.
Minifigure
In this set, we get Leonidas from the Lion Tribe. He’s the same minifigure as you get in many other Chima sets. His body is mostly beige colored with a blue strap across the chest and a blue stone in the middle. He also has some nice belt and leg printing. When you take his headpiece off, you can see that he has an angry expression on one side of the head and a goofy looking drunk expression on the other. His accessory is a CHI stone.
Build
The Jungle Dragster’s design is similar to a dune buggy. It has the dark yellow color of the Lion Tribe. Other than that, there’s nothing really special about it.
Results
Leonidas’ Jungle Dragster is a simple build with a nice minifigure. If you can find this polybag, this is the cheapest way so far to get the Leonidas minifigure. It’s a good addition to your Chima collection.
