Minifigures

There are eight minifigures in the set which include Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Falcon, Wanda Maximoff, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Winter Soldier.

Captain America is the same minifigure that we’ve seen before in previous sets. This version, he has the red, white, and blue outfit with the brown harness that goes around the back of the torso. His double-sided head shows him with a smile on one side and with the chinstrap on on the other. His accessory is his shield.

Iron Man is technically a new minifigure, however, this is the second Mark 46 suit that has been released. The printing on the suit has been updated with even more detailing on both sides of the torso. The legs have also been updated with more accurate printing. The double-sided is the usual one with the smile on one side and the HUD printing on the other. His accessories include a repulsor blast along with translucent-blue pieces for his thrusters.

Spider-Man is also a new minifigure. The outfit in this version is red with the darker blue. We have the usual design but the arms have printing while the legs are dual-molded. His accessory is the long web string.

Falcon is up next and this one is a reused one from the even more expensive Avengers Tower (76269). As with a minifigure in a more expensive set, the detailing on the torso is pretty detailed. For the wings, they are brick-built again but the coloring is a little different and it doesn’t use as much stickers as before, however, Redwing uses a sticker. His accessories are the two guns.

Wanda is in her dark red trenchcoat outfit but I wish the legs had some printing showing part of the coat. The coat is new so that makes her exclusive to this set for now. Her double-sided head shows her with a stern look on one side and an angry look on the other. Her accessories include some translucent-purple flames for her hex spells.

Black Widow is not a new minifigure but is new for 2025 as she is also in the Marvel Logo (76313). She has on a fairly plain black jumpsuit. Her double-sided head shows her with a smile on one side and an angry look on the other. Her accessories are a pair of batons.

Another new minifigure for this set is Black Panther who has the black and silver suit for his MCU debut. The silver is mostly on the viranium necklack and on the sides of the torso as well as a little bit on the mask. His accessories are his claws.

The Winter Soldier is a brand new minifigure for this set. The torso has a lot more going on with the the straps. The only minus here is that the prosthetic arm does not have any printing. The legs now have some printing with the straps as well. His double-sided head shows him with a five o’clock shadow with a smile on one side and an angry expression on the other.

Build

There are multiple parts to the build. First is the Ant-Man construction figure. He is similar scale as the other construction figures and is actually the second large-scale Ant-Man with the first one being the 76256 from 2023. They look similar but this one has the more early MCU design. He has the usual joints that the other ones do including the waist swivel. Having Ant-Man as a construction figure gives it a good scale compared to the minifigures.

Next up we have the small Quinjet. It is pretty much the same size as the one from the Avengers Tower although it has a completely different design than its predecessor. This version has a gray and black color scheme although the shape of the jet is similar. The cockpit windshield can easily pop off showing no controls and only enough room to fit one minifigure laying down. Behind it are, you guessed it, a couple of stud shooters. That’s pretty much it besides the angled wings on the back.

Lastly we have part of the Leipzig-Halle Airport where the battle takes place. The large area on the ground has enough spots for all the characters to stand on. There’s also transparent pieces that allows for some of the characters that have flight to attach on to make it seem that they’re flying.

The back part of the set has the terminal area along with the hanger next to it. It does have enough clearance to fit the Quinjet through to opening. The left side has some barrels that can blow out by pressing the lever on the opposite side of the wall. At the top of the terminal, there’s more areas for the minifigures to stand on.

Results

Overall, the LEGO Marvel Captain America: Civil War Action Battle (76314) is somewhat a mediocre set with the main focus being the minifigures. Ant-Man is probably worth about $30 since all the other construction figures are around that price point and this set was a good place to add him into while not having to release it as a single set since we’ve already had one.

The Quinjet is a decent throw-in but the airport layout seems incomplete. You do get enough space to fit everything in but it feels cramped.
