LEGO will again be releasing another Iron Man 3 set coming this April with the Iron Man’s Laboratory: Hall of Armor (76315). The set has 384 pieces and retails for $54.99.

Minifigures
There are five minifigures in the set, Iron Man MK6, Pepper Potts, Iron Patriot MK1, Iron Man MK43, and Aldrich Killian.
Iron Man MK6 is not a new minifigure and is also in the Marvel Logo (76313). The torso has some nice shading on both sides of the torso. The legs have some pearl-gold and silver printing. There’s no actual head used but a transparent-blue head.

Pepper Potts is not a new minifigure and was also in the previous Iron Man Armory (76216) from a few years ago. She again is in her black suit. Her double-sided head shows her with a smirk on one side and an angry expression on the other. Her accessory is now a gray stud shooter instead of a gold one from last time.

Iron Patriot makes his return for the first time since 2013. Both the torso and legs have an updated red, white, and blue color scheme that pops more than the previous version. There’s a neck bracket that allows the shoulder cannon to attach to. He also has has some transparent-red studs and round bricks for the thrusters.

Iron Man MK43 is not a new minifigure as it has been in a few sets last year. The suit has more pearl-gold and silver on the torso, especially the back. He does have a double-sided head with the HUD on one side. There are transparent-light blue studs and round bricks for the thrusters.

Aldrich Killian also makes his return since 2013. This version of him is towards the end of Iron Man 3 where he’s bare chested with the Extremis powers showing. His double-sided head shows him with a smile on one side and an angry expression on the other. One side with his glowing eyes would’ve been a little better.

Build
The whole build features a number of small builds. First we have the Dum-E robot holding a fire extinguisher.

Next we have the Igor Iron Man MK38 brick-built mech. It’s a little smaller than the super hero mechs that we’ve been getting but it pretty much is the same style. The chest does open up to fit a minifigure inside although there wasn’t anybody piloting it in the movie. The head is a printed slope while the arc reactor is a sticker.

The shoulders have ball joints for the oversized arms.

The hips and knees are also on ball joints so you can get a little posability out of it.

Next up we have the maintenance platform with some ball-jointed robotic arms on the sides. The back side has a transparent-blue sticker screen.

The next little build is a scanning device. A minifigure can stand in front of the screen while the “scanner” behind it can move up and down.

Lastly we have the three connected armor pods. They’re all built the same with the only differences being the screens on the back. The left pod is for the MK XLIII suit, the middle for the MK VI, and the last one being the MK XLVI suit.

Results
Over the years, the Hall of Armor sets seem to be on a decline and the LEGO Marvel Iron Man’s Laboratory: Hall of Armor (76315) is probably the worst out of five that LEGO has released. The one from 2019 had 524 pieces at roughly the same price point but now we have 140 less pieces.
The armor pods do allow you to make it wider if you have multiple copies of the set. Even though Igor is in Iron Man 3, adding it to the set seems to take away from the armory itself as the pieces could’ve been used to expand it more.
The minifigure selection is decent with some exclusive ones but we also have a few repeats. I think this set is more of a mini Marvel battle pack as the price is more heavily weighed on them instead of the parts for the armory.

Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
