Earlier this month, LEGO announced that they are planting 50,000 trees in Vietnam near their new factory site. The trees are to compensate the 25,000 trees that will be removed during the upcoming construction in November. Currently, LEGO has already planted 15,000 trees with another 35,000 in the next two years at locations close to the site. As for the new LEGO factory in Vietnam, it was announced late last year and will be the company’s first carbon neutral run site which is set to start production in 2024.
