As the 6th day of the LEGO Star Wars 2013 Advent Calendar (75023) rolls along, we’ve already some hits and misses on previous builds. Will today be a hit or miss?
Today, we get a Rebel Commando and our third minifigure of the advent calendar which evens out the the number of builds and minifigures we’ve gotten so far. This little guy has already appeared in a set earlier this year in the Ewok Village (10236) but that doesn’t mean we can’t add another one to the Rebel army. The main colors of the Commando is mostly sand green with some nice printing on the torso which continues to the back. The head is double-sided and is the exact same as Boromir’s from Lord of the Rings. He wears a helmet that we’ve seen before in previous sets worn by other Rebel Troopers. He does not have any weapons or accessories but if we follow previous years’ trends, we’ll probably be seeing something before the end of the calendar. Overall, the Rebel Commando is a decent and useful minifigure for army builders.
