I’ve received a couple of emails from readers notifying me that the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle (30279) have started showing up at various Target stores in the Halloween section and in the checkout aisles. If you remember, this particular polybag was included with GameStop pre-orders of the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game. Since then as far as I know, it had a pretty limited release with it being available only at LEGOLAND parks.

Actually, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this, the First Order Star Destroyer, Poe’s X-Wing, and the First Order Tie Fighter polybags just about everywhere.
Anyone have a Target DCPI number to search local inventory?

It’s the same number as other polybags so there’s no point in searching inventory. The only real way to know it to go there and check.
It was also available with Kaczor Donald (Donald Duck) magazine in Poland (10 PLN = 2,5 $) like few months ago.
I was scoping out the LEGO section at Target on New Years Eve, looking for a project to put together that night as I had no set plans. I made a point of checking out the checkout racks, and I found this kit. So as of late December 2016/early January 2017, you might still find it there.
I had hoped the wings would fold down into flight configuration, but alas, they don’t. But still, it’s a neat little kit, and it does look good.
