It is basically a game mode where you are stranded on an island and you have to find a way to to build a raft to leave the island to go to the next one. On the second day of E3 2017, WB Games is back with another LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, and today they showed off some of the multi-player aspect of the game. In this game mode, up to four players are pitted against each other to find out who can get the most studs/points. One main feature here is the Grandmaster looking over the players as well as the Infinity Gauntlet which allows players to control a particular Infinity Stone with it’s own specific powers.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 E3 2017 Gameplay

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2

Earlier today, WB Games did their presentation for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 and we got a sneak peek at some of the gameplay. One thing the game will focus a lot more on is the different versions of the characters from various time periods including the comics and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some of the playable characters that were seen on the character select screen that we did not know about include Agent Venom, Kingpin, Lockjaw, M.O.D.O.K., and Meduse. One character that was talked about but never mentioned by name could be Namor the Sub-Mariner.

LEGO Creator Double Decker Bus (10258) Rumored for July VIP Release

If you saw my post about the July 2017 LEGO Store Calendar, VIPs will be getting early access to an exclusive set and it looks like we may know what it is. Hoth Bricks is reporting that the D2C set will be the LEGO Creator Double Decker Bus (10258). The bus will be a larger version of the London Bus (40220) which we got last year.

If this rumor is true, it continues a trend of having regular sets as well as a smaller promotion set of the same vehicle. We first saw this with the Volkswagen T1 Camper Van (10220) with the mini 40079 set then with the Volkswagen Beetle (10252) with the smaller 40252 version.

If the LEGO Creator Double Decker Bus (10258) is indeed coming out in July for VIPs, we should expect official images and the designer video in the next few weeks.

Update: The LEGO Creator London Bus (10258) has been officially announced. You can check out the details in my other post.

The LEGO Batman Movie Now Available on Blu-Ray

The LEGO Batman Movie Target Combo

The LEGO Batman Movie is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD. As I mentioned before in a previous post from a few months back, various retailer will have their own exclusives. Each of the Blu-Rays will have some special features including four new original animated shorts, four deleted scenes, and six featurettes.

Target (shown above) probably has the most attractive version as it includes the exclusive Batgirl (30612) minifigure polybag along with some TLBM postcards. Batgirl has a new head piece and is different from the ones in the current sets.

Walmart‘s version of the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital HD copy will include a lunchbag.

Finally, Best Buy will have a higher end packaging with the steelbook version.
