LEGO has released a teaser on their social media for an upcoming LEGO Ideas set. The image features a suitcase filled with stickers filled with things related to the UK and some red bricks on the table with a small phone. The caption also reads “Unpacking soon. Any…Ideas.” My guess is that it will be the Red London Telephone Box which was one of the winners of the LEGO Ideas Second 2022 Review Stage. The official reveal of the set should be coming very soon.
The 2024 Lunar New Year is exactly four weeks away and Amazon has the LEGO Lunar New Year Display (80110) for 20% off. It’s been on sale for a while but this set has a generic style that will work for every new year and not for any specific zodiac sign. The set has officially been retired on the LEGO Shop so going to other retailers is the only way to get it now.

It took a while but I’ve finally had some time to do a 2023 recap for The Brick Fan. Some of you guys might not be interested but it’s for my reference since I love stats.
Our post count went down again last year, down to 885, however, we almost hit the 30 million page view mark. We barely missed it by just 100,000 views which sounds about right since we had less posts. Last year, it was more family time for me as I was taking care of my mom more after her cancer surgery and I prioritized that a little more than what happened LEGO-wise. I expect that’ll be about the same this year as well.
The highest traffic day was on May 1 with 251,277 page views when a lot of the summer 2023 sets were revealed that day. The higher traffic trend continued for the next seven days with over 100k views each day.
Unique visits and returning visits were also down due to me posting less which is understandable. Some days were just low volume postings simply because there was no LEGO news to cover. I didn’t want to post just to post unlike some of the more prolific sites. We should be hitting the 200 million page view mark early this year so that’ll be something to celebrate.

Dreamworks’ Shrek’s Swamp 2 by The Real Ashnflash is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,000 piece build features an updated project that also hit the 10k goal last year.
The project joins Spirited Away, Appa the Sky Bison, from Avatar the Last Airbender, Venus Flytrap, and Minerals Display as the ones to reach the First 2024 Review Stage.
Minerals Display by ddf72 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is a revamp of the minerals project that also reached the goal a few years ago but is now 100% buildable with parts that have been released since then. There is now also a case to hold all of the rocks.

Although it’s still a fairly recent set, Amazon has the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot (76993) on sale for 20% off. The set is now priced at $47.99 which saves you about $12 on it and you get the a cheaper set with the Dr. Eggman minifigure.

Venus Flytrap by Bricky_Brick is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features a potted Venus Flytrap that has the white flower along with about six of the jaw leaves.
The project joins Spirited Away and Appa the Sky Bison, from Avatar the Last Airbender as the ones to reach the First 2024 Review Stage.
