Amazon has kicked off their Early Black Friday 2023 sales and there are about a dozen LEGO sets that have been discounted from 25%-60% off. The list isn’t too expansive but there are some good ones on the list including the LEGO Icons Police Station (10278) which is 25% off. There is a limit on the amount of sets that claimed during these and a lot of them are about a third claimed already so get on it if you see something that you like.

LEGO has kicked off their LEGO Insiders Weekend 2023 sales in which you can get some good deals on various sets. You’ll need to log on to the LEGO Insiders Rewards Center to redeem the free discount codes to get the savings. Note that only one code can be used during checkout so you’ll need to make multiple orders if you want to get more than one of the sets on the list. In addition, you can earn 3X or 4X Insider points on a number of other sets as well.

LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set with the Orient Express (21344). Releasing on December 1, the set has 2,540 pieces and will retail for $299.99. The set celebrates the 140th anniversary of the real-life luxury train that carried passengers across Europe to Istanbul.

The LEGO Group today unveils the LEGO Ideas Orient Express – a beautiful brick recreation of the one of the world’s most luxurious and legendary forms of travel. Known as a ‘rolling palace’ the Orient Express was the world’s first international luxury train that carried thousands of passengers across Europe to Istanbul from 1883 to 1977.
Released to celebrate the train’s 140th anniversary, the new 2,540-piece LEGO set transports builders back to the Golden Age of travel, with some stunning key features, including the main locomotive, tender, dining and sleeping cars.
The LEGO Ideas Orient Express set also features removable roofs to allow access to detailed interiors, 8 LEGO minifigures including the conductor, a chef, staff, and a variety of passengers that depict different passengers. Decorations of the destinations that the train visited on its original route are also visible across the magnificent set.
The set was designed by 27-year old Paris-based, LEGO fan Thomas Lajon, as part of the LEGO Ideas programme. Once designed, 10,000 people voted for it to be made into a real set. Talking about his design, Thomas Lajon said, “I have always been a great fan of locomotives, sailing ships and
Wreck-It Ralph 10th Anniversary by Vaicko is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,879 piece build features the building from the game that Ralph destroys while Felix repairs it. The other side of the building show various references from the movie.

LEGO has put up the official product listings for the new 2024 LEGO Super Mario sets that will be releasing on January 1. A majority of them look pretty detailed and surprisingly, the price points for them are very reasonable. One new thing about this wave is that paper instructions will be included in the box as you no long need the app to build them but you’ll still need it to get the full interactive features.
During the LEGO Insiders Weekend 2023 promotions that are starting this week, there will also be sales on various sets as well as opportunity to earn triple or quadruple points on select sets. For the Insiders sales, you’ll have to go the the Rewards Center to redeem the rewards for the sale that you want which I’ve been told will cost 0 points to get. You’ll have to enter that code in the promo area during checkout so if you want to get multiple sets from this sale, you’ll have to do multiple orders.
