LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper Sergeant (5002938) Minifigure Polybag Found

LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper Sergeant Polybag

Now that we’ve cooled down a little bit from all the LEGO Scooby-Doo news this morning, let’s turn our attention to LEGO Star Wars. There’s a new image coming out of Eurobricks of a Stormtrooper Sergeant (5002938) minifigure polybag from the Rebels line. There’s no mentioning of how it will be distributed because it’s not on our list of 2015 promotions. If I were to guess, it will be available to volunteers who participate in the 2015 LEGOLAND California Star Wars Days by building and bringing a MOC to display. I’ll have to confirm with Ace from FBTB later if this is the minifigure that will be given out or not. I would also guess that it’ll be available to the general public at a later date, most likely as a gift with purchase.

Update: There’s also reports that the Stormtrooper Sergeant will be available in a goodie bag for the first 500 visitors to the park who are dressed up in a Star Wars costume.

First Look at LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion (75904)

LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion (75904)

Coming off our earlier report on the new LEGO Scooby-Doo The Mystery Machine (75902), there is now another set image from the wave. Toy News International has an image of the Mystery Mansion (75904) which is the biggest set in the wavve. There’s no word on the piece count but it will be priced at $89.99. The minifigures that are included with the set are Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, Vampire, Ghost, and The Black Knight. The set itself does look pretty similar to the Monster Fighters Vampyre Castle (9468) as reported by CapnRex101.

The picture above may not do the set justice as CapnRex noted that there was more detail inside the Mystery Mansion than on the outside although there are some nice details such as the clock face and the man-eating plant next to the greenhouse. Additionally, note that Shaggy also rides a scooter as well. The only downside of this set is that you will need to get this set to complete the whole gang as Velma is exclusive to this one. Stay tuned as more images slowly are being released for the LEGO Scooby-Doo sets.

First Look at LEGO Scooby-Doo The Mystery Machine (75902)

LEGO Scooby-Doo The Mystery Machine (75902)

We already knew the LEGO Scooby-Doo sets were coming but photography wasn’t allowed at the 2015 London Toy Fair. Well USA Today has given our first look at the The Mystery Machine (75902). The set contains 301 pieces and will retail for $29.99. It includes the iconic van which has computer screens, a spy glass, and other mystery-solving equipment. The set also has a spooky tree, a sandwich, Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, and a zombie. The other sets will range from $14.99 to $89.99. It is also noted that the LEGO Scooby-Doo sets will be available in August.

In a new partnership between Warner Bros. Entertainment and LEGO, there will be also be a 22-minute animated television special of the show as well as some direct-to-video LEGO movies in the next few years. Jill Wilfert, LEGO Vice President of Licensing & Entertainment, notes:

Fans always wonder which properties may come to life in LEGO form, and this year we are thrilled to bring all of the mystery, humor and hijinks of the Scooby-Doo universe to life in LEGO toys and animated content.

Here’s a list of the rest of the sets in the wave:

Mummy Museum Mystery (75900) – $14.99
Mystery Plane Adventures (75901)
The Mystery Machine (75902)
Haunted Lighthouse (75903)

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 14 – Monsters (71010) Leaked Images

*Image Removed*

The news is coming hot and fast and here’s the latest thing to surface out of the rumors that came out a few weeks ago. Remember that time when we were the first site to report that the Series 14 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71010) were going to be Monster related? There are now images coming out of Baidu of some minifigures that have been leaked and they sure fit that description. I’ve been reading other sites and people have been twisting the words and threw in that it was Scooby-Doo related or strictly Halloween-themed. No, I said it was Monsters, period. The information that I was given strictly said Monsters with no other words attached.

From the images, there are a lot of different types of Monsters represented like a Frankenstein-type, some zombies, a Vampire, a Witch, a Werewolf, a Skeleton, a Mad Scientist, some type of cat-woman, and a guy in a plant costume. Keep in mind that since these are still leaked images, they might be the final versions of the Series 14 minifigures. We’ll just have to wait a little long for LEGO to officially reveal them to see if these are indeed them.

So now you seen what appears to be some of the Monsters from the Series 14 LEGO Collectible Minifigures, what do you think of them? Leave a comment below or on our Facebook thread.

LEGO Juniors Green Goblin Minifigure Coming Summer 2015

If you haven’t been following Brickset’s report closely of the 2015 London Toy Fair, CapnRex101 has given an update on his report on the Brickset Forums. As you can see from the image above and the title of the post, there will be a classic Norman Osborn style Green Goblin minifigure included in one of the new Summer 2015 LEGO Juniors sets. You heard that right. The set will also include his Goblin Glider and at least one pumpkin bomb. This new set will be a little smaller than the current DC Comics Super Heroes Batman: Defend the Batcave (10672). This piece of news is pretty cool because there hasn’t been a Green Goblin minifigure since 2003 and I’m going to guess that he will be using the Series 13 Goblin hat/ear piece.

Not only will we be getting the LEGO Juniors Green Goblin set, there is also a Marvel DUPLO Spider-Man set that will be coming out this summer. This will be the first time that DUPLO will be releasing a Marvel-themed set and I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last.

Stay tuned as more and more details are slowly being released and hopefully we get to see images of these sets at the 2015 Nuremberg Toy Fair next Wednesday.

The Brick Fan Turns 3 Years Old

With all the LEGO news that came out this week, I totally forgot all about the date that happened this past Sunday, The Brick Fan turned three years old. The past year has been quite a journey and what a journey it was. What stared out as a hobby site literally became a full-time job last year and it was pretty cool to say the least. Again, I won’t be posting any site stats but you can check out the recap of what happened in 2014 here.

Like with many of these kinds of posts, I would like to sincerely thank all the readers that come by. Whether you’re here for just a certain article post or if you’re a regular reader, thank you. To everyone that have emailed me or commented about anything, thank you. I do enjoy responding to comments and to give people more information about a certain set or minifigure that they may not know about is a good feeling. I believe sharing knowledge is important to the success of anything and this site is my way of sharing what I know.

I’ve made a lot more friends as well as acquaintances the past year and it’s somewhat in part because of this site. It’s actually been a wild ride last year because I met so many new people from everyone at Philly Brick Fest, which was my first LEGO convention, to the people behind the scenes of various LEGO sites like BrickLink. It sounds weird but LEGO not only connects … Continue

2015 First Quarter LEGO Store Build-A-Minifigure Bar Elements

LEGO Build-A-Minifigure Bar

I recently featured the new 2015 first quarter LEGO Store Pick-A-Brick Wall elements and while I was there, I also had a chance to take a look at some of the new stuff on the Build-A-Minifigure bar. There were so many things I haven’t seen there so some of them might have been available before but I didn’t notice them. Note the above image is from the previous quarter because I forgot to take a picture of it with the new stuff. Again, most of these elements will be available at different locations but some stores may not have the same ones.

For the heads, the one that stood out the most for me is the queasy guy’s head from the LEGO Creator Fairground Mixer (10244). The set was released just last year and I was surprised to see that head available already. Another head that stood out was the Overlord’s from the LEGO Ninjago Battle for Ninjago City (70728). It might not fit in with many things but it’s cool for some themed MOCs. The rest are some general ones that you can use in many situations.
